So I live super close to this particular Starbucks. I go 1-2x per day, EVERYDAY! Iāve NEVER had a problem with any employee working there. But, today breaks the streak. So, I order my frappe in the drive-thru. In most cases, I will always order a grande, but ask for them to put it in a Venti cup. Because I love extra whip topping! It doesnāt matter what Starbucks I go to in Greenville, in Seattle, and California ETC. They will all have it overflowing. So thatās why I started ordering my grande in a Venti cup. When I heard her voice on the monitor in the drive-thru, I already knew she was irritated/annoyed. So I go up to the window, and ask her to repeat everything that I wanted in my drink. She immediately got an attitude because of a miscommunication. So she makes my drink, and put it in a grande cup. I specifically asked her to put it in a venti cup. But, the drink was already made.... I couldnāt tell her to remake it, or pour the drink into a venti cup, because everything would be mixed in together. Not only is whipped topping overflowing and chocolate overflowing out of the cap, but it is dripping and spilling everywhere. She hands me the cup that is completely dripping chocolate. Not only do I have a brand new car that was just detailed, but I have cream colored interior leather in my car. I donāt want anything dripping in my car. Even if my car was old, nobody wants sticky sauce dripping all over them, their clothes, and their car. So when she hands me the cup, I ask her to double cup it. She roll her eyes, and slam the cup down. But, itās still dripping mocha sauce. She hands me the cup and mocha sauce is all over the cap, and her hands. I asked her for a ton of napkins and a straw. So I told her that the cup is still dripping mocha sauce. She goes in and says something under her breath to the point where two of her coworkers turn around and stare at her. I have no clue what she said, but it was obviously something smart under her breath. I donāt know if she was just having a bad day, or just didnāt want to be corrected on her mishandling of the drink. Not once did I ever say it with A āBad Toneā. Or give her an attitude towards what she was doing. Because I have worked in customer service before. But I felt like she should have never gotten upset over something that she originally done. Thatās why I specifically asked for my grande in a Venti cup. No other Starbucks that I have ever been to, have ever had a problem with me putting my drink in a Venti cup. She just had a very disgusting attitude. To the point where I didnāt even enjoy my drink. I had to pull my car over and wipe the chocolate that was wasting, and wipe my sticky hands. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STARBUCKS AGAIN. Iād rather drive 20 minutes out of my way, and wait in a long line, than to ever have her serve me. It was such a bad experience. I was here on April 6 2019 at 5:30 PM. So whoever was serving The drive-thru at the time, you know exactly who you are. You either need to fix your attitude, or look for a new job. It was such a horrible experience with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go to Starbucks as a āpick me upā before work. Not for the product, or the caffeine. I donāt have the greatest work situation currently and Starbucks is a nice buffer between getting to work and starting to work.
There is one singular employee that is so negative, and rude it makes the experience terrible. The individual does not say āhelloā, instead the individual commands a āwhat do you wantā from the drive they speaker, or if you happen to have enough time, you can go in the store and you can have your whole order taken without being looked at or spoken too. If she places your drink out the window and you are too busy trying to get your stuff back together, donāt worry, you get your sit an extra five minutes because she pulls your drink angrily back in and makes you wait as punishment for not being ready on her time.
I have spoken to the district manger on two occasions about how rude and off putting this employee is, once over email and once in person. Companies only listen to Google reviews. After reading the other comments on here, it seems like others have had the same experience with an individual like this at this location. I spend around 12 dollars a visit, I work 5 days a week. You can do the math. I hope employing the absolute rudest individual and continuing to do so is worth a loss in profit. For anyone reading this, the Starbucks that is a mile down the road on Woodruff/Laurens is a much better visit all together. Here you donāt have to worry about the mean cash register spitting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I went to the drive thru at SB and there were cones in front of the speaker where you order and after a few minutes we had no answer. There were other cars in front of me getting coffee etc. So we proceeded to the window. We told the young woman no one came on the speaker and we would like to place an order. She told us you can't, you have to go back to the speaker. I asked her why she couldn't place our order since we were at the window and she is the cashier with the register right in front of her. Side note, there was no one else in the drive thru but us. She said we would have to drive around again and speak thru the speaker to place an order. No real reason why she could not take our order at the window! Terrible customer service. She could have easily taken our order while at the window. The register works just the same. Absolutely disappointed with this, SB usually has outstanding customer service and there was no sign that said the speaker is working despite the cones. Train the staff to do better. I couldn't park and go in the store due to an injury hence wanting to utilize...
