I place an order online as I always do and this time there was an extra fee taking off my card now when I called the store they told me they didn't know what I was talking about then told me to call my bank to see where my money went because they don't over charge or take more than they have to. I called the store back again and asked him to give me a clear answer on why I got charged extra money and he said to someone in the background to bring the order back so I said well if my food not getting delivered then give me my refund he said no I said ill be there get there and they called the police not only did I not get my food but they tell me that I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund then gives me a paper that said phone order but I made an online order this is no way to treat a customer whom spends 30+ dollars once a week a repeat customer so if you want your money taking and held hostage then go to CHINA KING and by the way while I was there the drivers are putting there hands in their pockets and then will grab your food and pack your food while not washing their hands I will never ever eat here again not even if they gave the food away grade should be 70 for the smell and the fact that all this food getting handle with no gloves or handwashing drivers come in from outside walk right in the kitchen straight to your plate that's nasty if you ask me.to top it off I said so my kids a fiancé just gotta be hungry cause I have to wait for my money that was supposed to get my kids food smh the cop told me to go outside basically told me I have to wait nothing was settle and the lady in the kitchen was very rude when im in there about my money im the customer you don't dismiss your customer they don't teach manners and customer service in china I guess "customer...
Read moreI ordered two hibatchi plates for delivery last Sunday one chicken and one chicken and shrimp (I dont eat beef or pork). The order that was delivered was steak and chicken and chicken. I immediately called an notified them of the mistake and asked them to deliver my correct order and I would return the plate they gave me. The guy that answered the phone was like can’t you just take the steak off I was like no because that’s not what I ordered. Plus i don’t eat steak, read meat so i don’t want it. Then he said he would give me half credit for next time I said no I want full credit because the order is incorrect and I would rather have my food. He kept on giving me the runaround as they didn’t wat to take the time for the redelivery. Anyway I received my full credit after the runaround with him and demanding my full credit. Fast forward I decide to use my credit today place my order why they call back and tell me it’s ready for pick up (which was not stated on phone during original conversation). I was like no I wanted it delivered as that’s what I had last time and if you all took the time to re-deliver it they night as I asked this wouldn’t be an issue. She then stated it $15 minimum delivery order. In other words y’all still trying to make money off me. Plus I was unable to get out that’s why I requested my food. I wanted to update this because I actually had a very exceptional experience with China King today. The other day they had gotten my order messed up and delivered me someone elses cold, strange food. I never called. They hit me up later that night and apologized and put a credit on my account for my entire purchase. I had a craving this afternoon and decided to give them another chance and it was a fantastic idea. They credited my account and delivered my order and didn't charge me a dime, and the food was far and away better than I had expected, and actually rated up on one of the top meals I have had in Greenville. They hand wrote me a note and attached it to my meal, again apologizing for my previous experience. It was super classy and I appreciate it very much.
I'm actually sad that it was as delicious as it was, because I ate it all before I could take a picture but it was such a dramatic improvement that I can't even believe it was the same place. I'll say this to the owner or the chef who responded and took care of me: If every meal that walked out of your doors was as delicious as the one you served me today, you would easily be one of the best places in Greenville.
