Orienta is a high-end, luxury French-Asian fusion restaurant centrally located near Main Street, Greenwich. Ambiance is understated, with low light and tables a bit too close to each other, bordering on cramped. Diners are permitted to eat at the bar, which opens up more cuisine area but eviscerates any casual bar scene. We arrived early and tried to grab a drink at the bar. The proprietor shoed us away as there was no room at the bar for drinks (perhaps something the restaurant should rethink). He was not overtly rude – but he wasn’t particularly pleasant either. Surprised, we left for another bar and returned later for dinner. I’m glad we did. As part of a large group, we ordered a number of dishes and shared collectively. Everything was delicious (perhaps that’s why the proprietor felt comfortable encouraging us to leave for a drink). For appetizers, the baby back ribs were the star – rich pork falling off the bone. For main dishes, the spicy duck lo mein is a must. Although the food is exceptional, prices are sky high. For six people, the cost exceeded $900 with very modest beverage consumption. I’ll be back, but preferably on an expense account.

Superbly imagined, beautifully created, delicious food here! We found ourselves nearby and decided to try this "new" restaurant. So it turns out it is only new to Greenwich, after becoming established in NYC, the option of bringing their creations to CT brings delicious meals. Korean Steak Tartare was a tasty treat, as it was very flavorful, but with subtle flavors not overwhelmed by another flavor. We shared one order, but should have ordered more! Sesame Seared Tuna was cooked to perfection (rare) and really tasty. The Pistachio Crusted Salmon was prepared just right, moist, flaky and super tasty! The baby bok choy was a nice contrast and flavor! Antione has a real gem here, we’ll definitely be back, often to explore further!

OMG, how come I just get to knew this cute and amazing restaurant after living in Greenwich for 5 years! The indoor seating is very cute and quiet, and the outdoor tables look amazing as well. Food is exceptional: we ordered hanger steak, caramelized half-chicken, pad thai, steak salad, etc. and all of us were impressed by all of our dishes! The staff were very friendly and we met the manager as well - who was very friendly and elegant. Heard that they also own Le Penguin next door - will definitely check out next time.

I’ve dined here a few times… the vibe is pretty awesome, laid back and welcoming. The family owned restaurant offers a great selection from Chef Adrian’s awesome vision of French and south East Asian cuisine ! Pretty cool combo. When you arrive you’re greeted and seated. I recommend reservations as it can fill up quickly.

On our first trip there we tried the lobster shooters which are a must try. Basically you get a piece of lobster in a shot glass with a coconut curry concoction.. take the shot and boom 🤯 what a creative amazing app!

We also had the salt and pepper cod over garlicky fried rice and their shaken beef dish! Both dishes were prepared with one thought in mind! perfection.

They have a pretty neat dessert collection that you won’t find on most menus, you can say it’s unique to this restaurant. The coco panna cotta, key lime pie, passion fruit pavlova and my absolute favorite the coconut tapioca pudding! All prepared in house.

Other must try’s are the Rockstar shrimp which is fried popcorn shrimp, iceberg lettuce, sweet chili sauce, lime. Both shrimp and veggie pan fried dumplings, the rooster wings and the late great lemongrass mussels.

My hands down favorite dish had to the steak frittes which comes szechuan maitre'd butter, french fries, spicy mayo! Honorable mention on their lunch menu for me is the Bahn Mi sandwich

My wife loves the Vietnamese crepe - This is a must try if offered, this was made famous and can be seen featured in one of the episodes of Beat Bobby Flay! Where the chef took down the world renown celebrity chef to beat Bobby Flay!

In short a great spot to have a nice date, or even celebrate a birthday! And on nice days you can sit outside in their...

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant! We stopped in because we wanted something different and boy were we pleased we decided to come here. The service was excellent, quick and efficient. I mentioned to my server that I had a food allergy and she was excellent in ensuring I avoided things I should not be having from the menu. For starters we had the pork spring rolls which were served with a delicious sauce. They suggested we rap them in the lettuce they provided and it was so good! For our entrees I had the Shaking beef plate and my girlfriend had the Spicy Duck Lo mein. Both of our meals were so good. The Shaking Beef was out of this world. The veggies and beef was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. My girlfriend really enjoyed her duck, she opted out of the lo mein and had the Jasmine rice which she preferred. I can definitely see ourselves coming back to try other items. The ambiance at the restaurant was so good. The lighting was perfect and it was nicely decorated. They have a long bar area available for...
