It is with a heavy heart that I write this one. I genuinely do not go into reviews wanting to write a bad one, only to express my truth. Here goes: It’s almost impossible to find the entrance to this place and it looked like a doctors office or something by the door and its neighboring businesses but during the last sidewalk sale on the ave they had a table outside advertising. When I walked in, I immediately remember being in this spot years ago, not sure if was the same brand/company then or not. The current brand confused me - it looked like a yacht club (water theme) but inside looked like a wooden saloon and was playing country music (land). The brand’s logo seemed cool though. The small bar was full on a weekday at 5pm and it looked like a workers personal bags took up 2 of the chairs so I asked for a table. The layout was odd and my table was like above some guy. The menu was confusing to read and seemed like everything except the salads came with fries. I had went in wanting to order everything eventually to having trouble distinguishing the difference between many items. I ordered a chicken dish and a cheeseburger. I wasn’t offered water or utensils, and had to ask to put in a drink order, but was given a generous amount of napkins - lucky for the guy under me. Now I love paprika more than probably anyone on the planet and its with that I say they used too much of it- its everywhere. There’s no taste to the food- it’s all overpowered by seasonings. The cheeseburger was probably the 2nd worst I’ve ever had in my life and I am not even that picky when it comes to one of my favorite foods! The server was nice but young and inexperienced and/or not trained. I sat under the skylight which was enjoyable. After I walked for 3 hours in the sun on because it was a nice day out and to burn off all the calories before I got sick. I don’t think I’ll be back, sadly, because I wanted to...
Read moreGreenwich finally has a brewery! Tucked away on a second floor in downtown Greenwich, Greenwich Brewing Company is a nautical-themed brewpub with great drinks and delicious bites. While they don’t currently brew on-site—thanks to some zoning hurdles—they’ve partnered with Bolero Snort in NJ to produce their lineup. That doesn’t stop them from delivering a solid selection of craft beers alongside an upscale pub grub menu that’s worth the visit on its own.
The OG Chicken Sandwich (Nashville hot style) is the must-try. The chicken was crispy, spicy, and it perfectly balanced with a layer of coleslaw and a massive side of seasoned crispy fries. Other menu highlights include smash burgers and fresh salads, keeping things a notch above your typical bar fare.
On the beer side, the standout was the Raspberry Uncle Bitters Smoothie Sour—a rich, fruit-loaded beer bursting with raspberry flavor. It was smooth, sweet, and just tart enough to give it a bite but not overpower the tastebuds. If you’re into heavily fruited sours, this one’s a winner.
The brewery is on the small side, so we highly recommend calling a head for dinner or for...
Read moreI recently visited Greenwich Brewing Co, and it was an experience to remember! The place was packed, buzzing with energy, and it’s easy to see why.
The Smash Deluxe Burger was absolutely phenomenal—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It’s one of those meals you can’t stop thinking about. On top of that, I sampled a couple of their craft beers, and each one was distinct and expertly brewed. Whether you’re a beer aficionado or just curious, there’s something for everyone.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with Chef Kevon, who was clearly passionate about the food and the overall dining experience. His attention to detail and creativity are evident in every dish.
Even with the crowd, the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the evening even better. The lively atmosphere added to the charm—this is clearly a place people love coming back to.
If you’re looking for amazing food, exceptional beer, and a vibrant setting, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely...
