06/20- order was never actually refunded, even tho I called and he responded to my review informing me the refund had been processed but again I was lied to and ended up calling my bank. Officially given them 1 star would give them zero if I could. Update: called to make sure the order was actually going to be refunded since the employee was on his phone when I was interacting with him, manager assured the order would be refunded and offered a new pizza if I happened to return, but first made sure to let me know leaving a two star review really makes “it hard to honor the request” of refunding the pizza. I totally understand having a negative review on your company doesn’t look the best but considering I had left it after having a bad experience I feel like adding that comment was super unnecessary, and I will not apologize about telling the truth in a review, it’s important for future customer to know about all the experiences at your restaurant not just the positive ones. Also you can ask nicely for someone to change their review especially after you make the experience right and in all honesty after speaking with the manager I was planning on changing it because I hate to judge a company off of one bad employee but since that’s kind of the way he approached it I will be leaving it at a solid 3! It was a cute shop in dtc, had it once before and decided to try it again today but the pizza was straight garbage, ordered a 16inch nyc pizza half black olives half pepperoni and it was incredible dry and awful in taste that after a slice and a half I returned the pizza to who was working and he said the owner will issue a refund. Pizza literally made me and my boyfriend sick almost immediately and for something that was brunt on the bottom the crust was oddly still doughy. Super disappointing experience all together, staff also wasn’t the nicest, usually when people walk into a shop the workers greet them, the workers aren’t also on their phone while working, I understand it’s a small business but the entire experience was super off putting on top of the food that was already nasty, bathroom was also super mid on cleanliness standards. Wouldn’t try again...
Read moreHey DTC Slice Team,
This has been a solid pizza location. I have placed five orders this year alone. My manager first introduced me to this location. He shared that it was one of his top pizza places and was worth trying. I lead a team event where we pick a Friday out of the month to try a pizza location. We have tried many pizza places around the Denver Metro area and found that my team shared DTC Slice as a top place.
The experience has been great, from placing an order for pickup online to entering the location. The staff welcomed each interaction and had a positive vibe. This location is in a busy and fast-paced area, where it's easy to lose sight of the value of customer service and foster relationships with the clients. I feel DTC Slice is doing well in both those areas and not losing sight of what’s essential to the client when looking for that one pizza location that the experience was so good that it makes them want to come back and share with friends and family.
They do not offer many styles of pizza, but each one has been great. I heard from many sources that the company takes pride in the quality of its ingredients, and I believe that is true. How each pizza is made makes you think it would be more costly, as the presentation and the overall taste have been exceptional. They take care of the order to the highest standard, making sure you are given the best.
The last time I picked up an order, I was greeted by Xena. Right from the start, she went above and beyond. She asked if this was my first time there, showed me each pizza for approval to satisfaction, and offered me a free order of garlic knots for the road with the order. I work for a service provider company, and I will say this was VIP-type service at its finest. I've meant to post an excellent review for this location, and I promised Xena I would follow through on my commitment to her.
Thank you, DTC Slice, for the fantastic service and pizza. I wish you all had a location near where I live, Thornton/Brighton. Maybe one day. I will see you...
Read moreI am incredibly picky when it comes to pizza and have tried it in several countries too. This is the best pizza I have had in the Denver area! Most pizza spots only get one of three things right: crust, sauce, or toppings (including cheese). This place hit the mark on ALL THREE!!! The crust had a nice crunch and some chew to it. It had some flavor to it too so you know they make it in house. The toppings were plentiful but not overdone. Little pepperonis are the best and the toppings were added evenly which jived with my OCD brain. The sauce was perfect. Not too sweet and present enough to compliment the crust and toppings. Needless to say, I will be back! I don’t live close to this place but I will definitely pick it up when I am in the area. I haven’t a pizza this good since I was in Zurich and St. Moritz. That was a while ago and I’ve had plenty of pizza in the Denver area but NOTHING compares to this. Please know, they DO serve pizza by the slice. When you walk in you see their main menu to the right which highlights their full size pizzas. We saw a few people walk in and then walk out. The only reason I can think of for why this happened is because they didn’t have a menu highlighting their “by the slice” options. I heard people ordering it so it exists! I know there are people out there like me that maybe need to spelled out and/or prominently displayed. I thought we were going to get slices but after I didn’t see it, I fell in love with one of their specialty pizzas so we ordered that instead. The “Honey...
