HotBox Pizza — Restaurant in Greenwood

We decided to try hotbox pizza for the first time last Friday for carryout. My husband and I both thought it was under done and not enough sauce. We realize that would be a personal preference and next time we would just ask for extra sauce and well done. Well, unfortunately we will not be ordering again. When there was 2 slices left I found a hair baked into the crust. At first I thought it could be one of mine and went to pick it off but it was stuck possibly being held down by cheese, so I know it's not mine. So now I'm grossed out! I sent a complaint via the website right away. As of Tuesday no response from Hotbox. So, we will not be going back.

Update: The manager called me 4 days after I submitted my complaint online and gave me a credit to try them again. To be honest, I was more upset about no response than the hair. So we tried them tonight and got thin crust and we were pleased. The crust was nice and crackery and it was baked...

If I could rate it less than one star for customer service, I would. I ordered 4 distinctively different pizzas. I got two pizzas. When I called to correct the problem, I was told one thing the first time and something different the second time. The manager came on the phone. I was told that I should be happy with my order. Further, I was told that I was "irritating". According to the manager, the computer can't be wrong... The confirmation email showed something different from what I ordered which was different from what they told me in the phone call which was different from what I received. I won't order from Hot Box Pizza again after the condescending tone, accusations, name-calling...

Ordered a supreme pizza online. The description of a supreme pizza online on your website clearly says extra cheese. When picking it up I open the box and the cheese didn't even cover the corner pieces of the pizza or come to the end of the crust. When asking the manager and showing him the description online he acted if he could care less and admitted it wasn't extra cheese and said he couldn't control how it rings up in the store or what the description says online. It was obvious he didn't care. When I walked in I observed a worker adding toppings to a pizza without gloves on. Also there was way too much cornmeal on the pizza. Very unhappy with this experience and...
