We are long time, very regular customers, but our experience last night was very upsetting. This was the first time in 6 years that I've ever had to call and even check on our order so I was not at all prepared for the lying and hostility I received. We got an email at 848pm that the order had left the building, per Google maps we are 1.8miles from the store, at 916pm (30 mins later), I called to make sure everything was okay. The guy on the phone did warn me the manager was in the bathroom and apologized for the hold until they could check on my order. He came back on the line and said the map shows the driver should be there any minute. I asked if they checked in with him, made sure he's not lost or broke down, or truly about to be there, he said he did have more than 1 delivery to make but he was almoat to our stop. After a 10 min phone call he finally put the manager on the phone. All she wanted to do was lie and get me off the phone, not 1 time did she apologize or offer to make it right in anyway. First she said "we're busy, orders take awhile, he's about to be there". When I tried to explain my food has been sitting in his car for almost 45 mins at this point she gave me her first lie, said those emails go out before the driver actually leaves, he just left 10 mins ago. So I let her know the previous gut already told me he was making multiple deliveries at once so that's not true. "Yea, we're busy, our drivers do 2-3 deliveries at a time". Okay then if he's about to be here I'd like to wait on the phone to make sure the foods still hot otherwise I'm going to need a refund. "I can't wait on the phone until he shows up" but if hes about to pull up you wouldn't actually be waiting right. "It took 10 mins just to get you on the phone, so he's been about to pull up for at least 10 mins now, again we're right down the street from the shop, somethings wrong". Her next lie, "like I said, we're super busy, I was busy making pizzas while you were on hold" Nope, the previous guy already told me you were in the bathroom...making pizzas?! going to the bathroom?! doing drugs?! who really knows?! I spent $55, it's been 45 mins at this point since our food left the building, I want my money back. (This is just about the food sitting in the driver car getting cold, not 1x did I say anythjng about the hour between placing the order and getting the delivery email beacuse I know, it does take awhile to make the food). But my problems were not her concern "You will not talk to me like that"...click...she hungup...not 1 apology, not 1 offer of compensation...and still no pizza yet, after an 18 minute phone call, that was made 30 mins after the "it's on its way email". I was so upset I was literally shaking. And I'm even more disappointed that we'll have to get our favorite pizza from some other...
Read moreJack's Pizza, for me and what I like in pizza is the best there is. I choice Jack's over any other pizza chain around, it is very good. I order from the 2 locations in Greenwood Indiana and at times, the customer service has been rude, frustrating, employees confused or "lost" when trying to pick up an order that was placed. I have called back and spoke with a manager and received good customer service and issue resolved. However, this is a separate issue, again as far as pizza goes, it is great. Sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, toping are always great and again, for my choice of pizza style is by far the best around. For those looking for a semi thin crusted, great tasting sauce, and great tasting mozzarella cheese as important ingredients to a pizza, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for the style of a deep dish, thick crusted, light sauce taste or cheese blends on a pizza then you may not. Overall very good, 5 stars for the pizza, I would give 4 stars for service, as there have been issues, but for me it's the pizza...
Read moreBrenda is a total disaster for customer service. Ordered 2 topping pizza. Called and got the "manager". When I told her we was missing most of the 2nd topping, she immediately got dismissive. Saying she personally "loaded" it on. Told her we were looking at it and would send pictures. Tone got condescending after that. When I told her I didn't feel like being called a liar over a topping. More attitude continued and hung up on me. I wasn't looking for anything free, I just didn't want to pay for a topping I didn't get. Pretty simple request. I've been ordering pizza from here for years. I have never had a more unpleasant experience. I will personally be going tommorow to talk to a "Bill" about the situation. Thanks for ruining my family's new...
