Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Gresham

We went in tonight for dinner. We ordered two drinks and an appetizer. First thing, we told the server we wanted the pretzels and beer cheese. The drinks took about 30 minutes to arrive and only after we inquired about them multiple times. They were from the bar but.. still. My drink tasted like straight coconut flavoring. It was awful. We didn’t get the pretzels. We sat at our table for 50 minutes before we ultimately got our main meals. This is after the server came to us multiple times specifically stating I got those pretzels on the way!! So we never got our appetizer. Someone else brought our food, not the server, so we told the food runner that we never got our appetizer. She goes to look in the kitchen? The server then eventually comes back and is like “oh you never got your pretzels?” We told her we don’t want them anymore, because we ordered them as an appetizer. She then says she’s going to the kitchen to look for them. We don’t see her for awhile. We then see her come out, delivering food to another table. Pretty sure she sees me make a face like uhhh. She comes over and is like “i know right”. Then a guy from the kitchen.. a cook maybe? Not sure? Puts the pretzels down on our table. We are eating our main meals by now and told him that we don’t want them. He says “it’s fine. I take care of it. Enjoy” even though we repeatedly stared we did not want them. The server then comes back and gives us all the drama about the kitchen and her fighting. She says they’ll discount the meal. She brings us the check and all they had done was “comp” the pretzels that we didn’t want and that they messed up. She sees this before even handing it to us and goes back. Server comes back again and says the removed one other item. That’s all. That’s my review....

I wish I could give this location negative stars. My bf and I went to watch the seahawks game A couple of Sundays ago and to grab some drinks. The bartender was also our server, he came to our table gloomy as crap, like he didn't want to be there and definitely didn't want to be dealing with us. So we ordered wings and a burger. We get the wings, they are under cooked and bloody. My bf ate off the ones that were not undercooked and we left the rest there on the plate and just shared my burger. We watched the game, the bartender came over and asked if we were okay and looked down at the bloody wings on our plate and boy did he turn on his smile and customer service skills (not too skilled) and we politely asked for water. I didn't say anything about the wings, he goes over and talks to a man in a blue shirt which I'm assuming was the manager? Idk anyways the guy in the blue shirt lurks around the table (as if we didn't notice him) and looks at the wings and then keeps walking past. Okay so that's 2 employees of this establishment looking at these nasty bloody wings sitting in the middle of our table. Now I didn't like the wing sauce to begin with so I didn't want them replaced and we were ready to leave after the man in the blue shirt circled us. We had planned on getting trashed and watching the game. We left and went to spud monkeys up the road and they were awesome! Got great wings and greeted with a smile. Got our drinks wrong twice so we blew it off because it was no biggie but other waiters ease dropping on conversations by staring at our table and obviously standing and staring at our table just to only talk with your friends (which are customers behind you) about another person's converstations which has nothing to do with your bussiness is completely outrageous and delusional. The manager Luis was very kind and so was our waiter but seeing the blonde girl was making her job uncomfortable by starting little side comments like how "she wished our bill should have had zeros behind then it would have been better." It was until our server left for some reason the group of waiters hanging out at our table making side comments left. But I dont blame our serve for clocking out because she seemed uncomfortable with the whole conversation. i did not appreciate the ease dropping or the side comments for no reason but to snicker and gossip at other people. We were charged for both drinks even though they weren't the correct ones.. And then trying to start something between customers by personally gossiping with other paying customers(your friends) about other customers as if we didnt notice. Unprofessinal and rude and on top of that supporting a customer for mocking someone for being happy to eat by mimicking they're movements is beyond belief that this was even allowed by management and the rest...
