McDonald's — Restaurant in Gretna

I usually have pretty good experiences here but not today. I ordered a deal off the app which was a buy 20 piece nugget get two medium fries free. So that's what I ordered and I asked the person that was taking my order in the drive thru if my food could be made fresh. They didn't answer and instead asked if I wanted anything else. We continued to order and I asked again if my food could be made fresh, I told them that I did not care if I had to be pulled forward to wait. I say this everytime I go to a McDonald's because they're notorious for low quality, stale food. They didn't answer so I asked again, loud enough that I KNEW they heard me. Instead of saying anything, we were met with complete silence. they completed our order and didn't say anything, we could tell when the screen flashed our total. we drove up to the window and paid, the person at the window wouldn't talk to us. once we got to the 2nd window they immediately handed us our food and I asked if it was made fresh. the lady at the window was kind and said that she didn't think it was made fresh and had us pull forward to wait. and even though we waited, once we received our food the only thing made fresh was the fries. the nuggets were so obviously tossed back into the fryer, overcooked and hard. I'm so tired of the disrespect I when I go anywhere to eat. you're literally getting paid to be nice and listen to me and they can't even do just that. I work in customer service and I treat employees of the places I go kindly because I know what it's like to have rude customers. I was kind to these people and they can't do a simple task....

I have never been to this McDonald’s before. This occurred on June 15, 2023 at approximately 7:00-7:30 PM. I ordered a 4 piece McNugget Happy Meal, which came with the nuggets, fries, apple slices and a small coke with no ice. I also ordered a plain hamburger on the side.

Everything tasted fine until I got to the nuggets. They tasted a little off, but not horrible. I know depending on the McDonald’s or the oil they use it can alter the taste. So I ate them. I know I shouldn’t have though.

I was with my family. My husband and daughter’s boyfriend went to the nearby Pepperjax Grill. My daughter ate McDonald’s with me, but did not have any nuggets. We next stopped at the Hy-Vee. I was starting to feel a bit queasy there. Then we went to Target and by then I was pretty miserable. We went straight home from there.

Within moments of getting home I was in the bathroom. I was vomiting to the point of it was just stomach acid coming up. Next came the diarrhea. Then the horrible chills that no matter what I did I couldn’t seem to warm up. I was so miserable that I ended up just going to bed. I ended up sleeping just over 12 hours.

When I woke up, I called the McDonald’s to let them know what happened. The manager I spoke with seemed indifferent to what I was saying. She did not ask for any details. She really just seemed to want to get off the phone. I have felt clammy, weak and tired all day. Some nausea off and on. All I can hope is nobody else gets...

Ordered breakfast here. They got rid of the screen where you can see what you ordered. We paid, then went to pick up the food but they told us to wait in bay 4. (All good no worries) The employee brought it out to use but it wasn't all of our order. When we asked she said we didn't pay for it and to just take it. They didn't give a receipt and one wasn't printed on the bag of food. At that point breakfast had ended so we couldn't even fix it. I think they ran out of the big breakfast so they just didn't give it to us. We added up what we ordered and our total match what we were supposed to get. If they are out of something just tell us so we can order something different for the kids and not have nothing for them plus take our money. This might be the last straw for...
