Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Grove

As always the Sonic Drive-In in Grove Oklahoma is a nice place to go for a quick snack or a meal, the food has always been correct and fresh except for one minor mishap on accidentally getting somebody else's order. Other than that the servers are always friendly and greet with a smile. The parking lot generally stays clean depending on the time of year an amount of traffic. And with the building only being a few years old it is cleaned regularly and as far as the inside unfortunately I do not have any insight into that so I have no comment but from what I can see every other time I am waiting on my food somebody normally has a broom and is sweeping. If you decide to stop by the local Sonic in Grove Oklahoma I strongly suggest a nice milkshake because so far this has been the only Sonic Drive-In that has ever gotten a consistent thickness. I really wish I can give this Sonic a five star review but I have never been to a five-star Sonic so unfortunately I have given a four-star review taste off of my observations and experiences. Maybe once they come out with Apple pay for the car order screens or Samsung pay along with possibly turning down the outside music it will remain at a 4-star level by my rating system unless there is a negative change or a...

I usually really like Sonic but now I see why this location has so many bad reviews. They don't seem to care about quality of the food they serve. I came in around 9pm and ordered 2 - 3 piece chicken strip combos. I paid almost $20 for 2 orders old old nasty cold fries and one of the orders of chicken only had 2 and a half strips. I called and talked to the "manager on duty". I was told that he would remake the fries if I wanted to come back up there and he also said that the 2 and a half strips was just their serving size. I am not driving all the way back up there after I just got through working for 12 hours! I got pretty heated over the phone. I mean who serves 2 and a half strips on a 3 piece order? And why didnt they cook fresh fries for the order? Theu should have cared enough to get it right the first time! Do you want to spend your hard earned money on old nasty food? Well, neither do I and neither do the rest of your customers. Come on Sonic! He didn't care one bit about creating a great customer experience. SONIC!SONIC!Well…for being “Americas Drive in” This Sonic in Grove, OK, is a outlier to my previous statement that’s stated inside quotes up above. The food is expansive for what it is the quality didn’t appear to be the best the presentation was a little lacking but expectations should not exceed a 3.5 on a 1 to 10 scale, I mean… come on it’s a drive thru that has a red intercom button you talk through to order. If we’re being honest here all of these Sonics littered through out all of the fly over states in rural America should do some self corporate reflecting and remember the title that at one point was fitting an deserving “America’s Drive In” But also the plethora of Americans that supported Sonic And awarded sonic the title of America’s Drive In.
