Chocolate Corner & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

Popped in to grab some treats after driving by because...I mean, who doesn't want a little treat while on vacation?

The shop is in a medium-sized shopping center with ample parking. The inside is clean and nice and brightly lit, with all sorts of confections on display.

A gentleman came out and offered his assistance. He was very polite and cheerful and made me feel super welcome!

I wound up with two dark chocolate turtle clusters and a cup of chocolate peanut butter fudge. I saw in older pictures in other reviews they had chocolate covered cashew clusters; I was hoping they'd have some as I love cashews, but I never saw any. That was really the only small disappointment. Their ice cream treats look amazing in pictures and I wish I'd had the appetite to get one of those!

We ate our treats later in our vacation but they both lasted nicely and tasted great even a few days later! The chocolate on top of the turtles felt a little crunchy but they were still really good. The fudge was perfect! Sweet but not too sweet, and suuuuuuper creamy. I couldn't decide which part I liked better -- the peanut butter or the chocolate!

This shop had so many great options to choose from. They even have Sugar-Free selections. Everything we've tried so far has been amazingly delicious, and it's all reasonably priced so it won't hit your bank account too hard. The man who helped my daughter and I decide what we wanted was so very helpful and nice. He was just as sweet as the ice cream and fudge. He was great with my daughter. He spoke directly to her when it was her turn, and wasn't irritated with her six-year-old indecisiveness at all. He helped her choose what she wanted, and was so patient with her. Killer chocolates. The salted chocolate carmels are heavenly. I also bought some huge turtles and dark chocolate covered toffee. Dang Momma, it’s all good. They had fudges, a large selection of different truffles, chocolate candies, dark chocolate orange peel, and a small ice cream section if wanted an ice cream cone. Staff was very friendly and I am going back tomorrow night on our last beach day before we go back home on Saturday as we are on vacation.
