Hooters — Restaurant in Gulfport

i had just driven from virginia on 2 hours of sleep, tried looking for something like the east coast board walk for a cheesesteak and found nothing. went to 2 other places and could not get service and by time i arrived here i was tired, hot, hungry and i think very dehydrated and getting a migraine, but it was right next to the hotel and i just wanted to eat and sleep before the last leg of my trip back to texas after being on the road for 5 weeks. i walked in and 3 young ladies were on their phones not paying attention and had to be prompted by a man standing by the door to help me. it took a good few minutes to get served but Emily was very apologetic about my whole encounter so far and worked hard to try to give me a good experience. unfortunately, she brought the wrong order the first time but the manager quickly made the right dish and she was again, very apologetic. it was good, but by the time i started eating, i was feeling nauseous with every bite. i couldn't even finish it. then i felt like i was going to be sick and the noise was killing me as the migraine was getting worse, so i quickly squared up and left. on the way out the 3 young ladies were back on the phones again not paying attention, but one looked up at the last second to say goodbye. gave 3 stars bc the waitress made up for a rough start in so many ways with her attentiveness and understanding that my experience was not going well, and the food was good... the best cheesesteak i've had in the south so far, having grown up 2hrs from philly! would i return... idk, i live...

If I could give a 0.... DON'T GO HERE. We ordered $60 worth of food last night. This was my first time ever eating Hooters or ever being in a Hooters. We did a to-go order through Hooters website. When we got the food wee bit into the fried pickles and the breading was pretty much Raw. I called to speak to the manager about this and just thought you know what after that I would just like to take the food back and get my money back and he said okay. I then going to take the food back and the whole thing probably took 30 to 45 minutes the manager there a very large man, was extremely rude. I have never had such bad customer service in my 40 Years of Living. First, he leaves me standing there doesn't say a word to me walks in the back where I can clearly see him washing his hands and putting on gloves, I'm assuming to look at the order I returned. But just leave me sitting there for nearly 10 minutes! He paraded me around in front of his staff as if I was a joke. I have called customer service and corporate and we'll definitely be following up on this as I returned our whole order to him only for him to tell us that we ordered through some waiter app, which we did not. I would definitely avoid this place. Who knows the food might not be that bad but the management is absolutely horrible!!! How do people like this even get put in...

This is one of the most poorly run Hooters that I have ever been to. It used to be much much better.

The food was okay, but the manager on duty when I went Sunday was horrible. She got into some kind of altercation with a customer and she handled it very poorly. I think her nametag said Brittney. She had blonde hair, whatever her name is.

The customer was asking her if she could turn down the volume on the TV that was near them. I agreed that the TV needed to be turned down.

There were 2 TVs playing the football game, but there was a 1 second delay on the audio between them. This constant echo in the restaurant and that volume level was absolutely terrible.

She told the customers no at first "I can't turn the TV down because it's game day". There was nobody at all sitting in at section where this family was sitting. Honestly, it was probably because of how loud the TV was...

After about 10 more minutes she was asked again to turn it down. In my honest opinion, when she came back with the remote, I am pretty sure she actually turned it Up, not down... Very very rude to this family.

This experience ruined my visit to this restaurant. I will not be returning to the Gulfport hooters again.. not worth all the extra drama to me.
