If you want a nice methed up hotel to be at this is your choice! And YES I said METHED up. When I pulled in to check in it was late and a man was arguing with the front desk person outside the doors because apparently they lock them at 9pm. They were arguing about the guests being able to get their room serviced with clean bedding and towels. The front desk person told them they had to stay there at least a week to get those items. He was finally able to get new towels and I was finally able to start my check in process. So I requested an accessible room when I booked checked in and got an upstairs room. Asked for one downstairs and was told sorry I don’t have any! Got to the room opened the door and it stunk like peeeeeyyyeeeewwww! I requested a non smoking room and guess what the room smelled like smoke and mildew! There’s a random hole in the toilet. They only give you two towels and two washcloths. When I went to the front desk the next morning to ask about it the front desk told me that that was their standard they give out so I requested more and also asked for two more pillows because they only put two on a bed and they are very small and flat. She told me that someone would bring some by and I said okay thank you. My family got ourselves together left and came back later that night only to find out that guess what no towels or pillows had been left for us! Like wheww how is that even possible?! Alright same night my daughter says she’s hot and can’t sleep so I go to try to cut the air down cooler only to find out to my surprise the AC is broken it has no numbers showing up the buttons do not work and the whole front is falling apart literally not even screwed in or anything. We ran out of tissue in the middle of the night because you know 3 nights at a hotel and they don’t service your room or bring you tissue is normal right?! Tried to go to the front desk to get more rang the little door bell over and over and no one came called the phone over and over again no one answered so we just had to go buy our own tissue because there was no one in the office or either they was dead asleep to the world. Staff is rude the place is disgusting and I will never stay here again! Again if you are looking for a nice crack/meth hotel here is your...
Read moreWe were not pleased. Unfortunately, this was one of the few vacancies available at the time (we had to wait one week in Crestview, FL) after Hurricane 🌀 Ida (8/29/2021), made landfall in New Orleans metro area which got hit pretty hard by the Cat. 4 Hurricane, as did south-west Louisiana and south Mississippi. The Red Roof Inn located in Gulfport-Biloxi- Airport in MS, where we stayed during our post-hurricane Ida evacuation was pretty gross, not clean!! After waiting a week for this reservation and still no electricity available in New Orleans to return home to, we were stuck taking this available hotel- they accept pets, thank goodness!! But the floors were dirty and sticky. Our refrigerator didn't work. Our shower backed-up with 6 inches of water and the toilet gurgling the entire time we used the shower. Our telephone ☎️ in the room didn't work so we had to walk from the last building to the front office to talk to them about anything. Our volume control on the TV didn't work--it stayed at one volume. Our Mom is 77 years old and very ill with lung cancer and on oxygen & has many medical issues from being hit by a train Nov. 2019. I am disabled--mobility limited, my sister and her 2 dogs were with us. The only room on the bottom floor that they could give us was a room with one king-sized bed, so all 5 of us had to squeeze in together each night--- that's closeness and love 💘. We got a broom & a mop from the housekeeping ladies and cleaned up our room. We also went to the dollar store to get cleaning supplies (disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray, paper towels, air freshener, etc. ). We couldn't take the chance our Mom would become more sick from this hotel room. By the way, this room was not priced at a reasonable rate: $120 + taxes and fees. Check-In time is not until after 2:30 PM, and Check-Out time is no later than 11:00 AM. May you all be blessed with safe, happy, healthy, productive, fun, and love -filled💘 adventures & travels! May your journey be filled with magical memories!!...
Read moreFirst off the staff is nice! I called on my way to verify my room because on the website they only had two bed nonsmoking available, so I asked one staff member and she said they was out of king rooms. When we arrive there were 7 king rooms available. But one lying staff can’t make them all bad. So they put us in a king room after all, and it was the worse. I needed to stay one more night but I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies just to stay one more night due to work. The first room my husband and I was put in was a complete death hazard! The ice chest had mold all over it, the chair in the room was so old and full of mold, the bed had been slept in and made up by housekeeping with dirty pillows and dirty sheets, the tub was filthy and the tissue was even nasty and old in the bathroom! The second room I was put it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room but it smelled of cigarettes and I personally had to purchase air freshener to calm the odor. The phone wire was cut and no phone was in the room, the room was missing a dryer, not only that the bathroom door was still wet with paint! The pillow had blood droppings on it, and were dirty. The hotel staff far as front desk was pleasant but if my room has no equipment that was due to be in there before I arrived, I as a visitor should not have to walk to the front desk to get items I ask for they should be delivered to the room. Please clean the place up before some one gets sick from mold! Try more cleaning less mold before some one get sick and land y’all with a healthy doctors bill or a stiff lawsuit. For bad service clients should be reimbursed for one night after all you’re running a hotel, it should be prepped and...
