Logan's has made a few changes (mostly adjustments due to the pandemic) that I was unaware of. I remember when throwing your peanut shells onto the floor was a leisurely thing while waiting for your food to arrive. Now, you don't get peanuts unless you request them, and you're not allowed to throw your shells onto the floor anymore. I can't remember exactly how their old menu was designed, but it's not the same layout as it was around the year 2008 (which was around the last time I visited this particular establishment). [All of the above was simply to inform the reader.]
My visit this time was great. In fact, it was so great, I think I will go eat there again, as soon as I finish this review! š
Since service is most important to me, I'll let you know that the service was fantastic. The bartender had an easy, outgoing personality that matched well with her level of professionalism. About ¾ of the way through my meal, she got a little busy, but handled each and every one of her tables without a hiccup. She even offered everyone rolls - all at the same time. She was like a restaurant maestro, orchestrating her flock of hungry sheep and leading them to a vast field full of yeast and alcohol. It was beautiful.
Their 12oz Ribeye with a side of Broccoli w/ some melted Swiss cheese on top is more than enough to fill me up (for about an hour, then I Hulk-smash the remains). They 'use only butcher-selected, grain-fed beef, and grill their steaks over an open flame with real mesquite wood for a flavor you won't find anywhere else.' Very unique flavor indeed. It is so mouthwatering... You throw in a Margarita en las rocas (i.e., on the rocks), and you can easily have a wonderful evening all by yourself - just as I am about to relive tonight all over again. See you soon, Logan's. Again. š
UPDATE: I told you I would be back. Jade tried to remember my order and couldn't! Lol. You can't blame her; she deals with a new flock every day. Only a few chosen of the elite repetitiously commute to and dine daily at their favorite restaurant. The service and the food was the same; different experience though. As you can probably tell from the number of reviews that I have posted about all of the various restaurants that I have experienced, I love Ribeyes and Margaritas. I will try different things - just to have the opportunity to inform any new potential customers of what they might expect. But I have a very high metabolism [which is where the need for protein (e.g., Ribeye) comes in], and depression. I don't know if there is a cure for depression, but a Margarita from Logan's sure helps me sleep good as soon as I lay my head down. Maybe one day when the Sun casts a shadow over this sadness, I will return a 3rd time. Until then, thank you again, Logan's (and Jade), for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur service tonight from this Logans was terrible. The waitress has some things she seriously needs to work on. Starting from the top, when we sat down, we did not get any silverware which wasn't a big deal. We then got our rolls, still no silverware. My husband ordered water with lemon, I ordered water with no lemon. We both got water with no lemon. She then asked us 3 times what we wanted, literally like 1 minute apart from each other. We had to tell her we would wave when we were ready. I ordered the Logan (12 oz ribey) with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. She asked if I wanted cheese and bacon on my potatoes, and I said no maam. Then she asked if I wanted brown or white gravy. I said "can I have plain, wait no I'll have the brown gravy" she said "brown? Okay!" And wrote it down. When we got our food, we still didn't have silverware, so we had to ask for some. My broccoli was ice cold, and I had no gravy on my potatoes. My husband got the kickin chicken salad and the chicken had a weird texture. It looked cooked, however the texture was hard and gummy almost as if it wasn't cooked properly. Half of our meal was spent with empty drinks. After we finished eating, the waitress brought our check. She had circled the total and the part of the recipt that says "gratuity is not automatically added"(kindof tacky). Our total was $34.21. We had 2 $25 gift cards that we were paying with, so we put them in the folder and waited. She came back and told us which receipts to sign and which were ours. While signing the receipts was when we realized that she never brought us our gift cards back. IT STILL HAD A BALANCE OF $15.79 AND SHE DIDNT BRING IT BACK! Our total was only $34 and she thought her tip was going to be 50% for terrible service?! We then talked to the manager about the situation and he said he would handle it. When she came back she had the card in her hand, she said "I'm so sorry, I've never had to give the cards back, I threw it away, but they had already taken most of the trash out so its clean" and handed me the gift card back. Other than my broccoli being cold and not having the gravy I asked for, my steak was great, and the potatoes tasted good plain, but because of the terrible service from that waitress, we will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe literally just left there. I first want to say I have waited tables before. But this was literally one of my worst experiences ever. We waited over 15 min to be greased by a server as there was a bartender at the bar that couldāve greeted us then another server went told that she had to guest said Iām not walking that far but yet once we got a server, she waited on two other people and one both of them being Mail they hurried and greeted one and then went to the other one. One was on one side of the bar and one was on the other then are spinach. Dip was completely disgusting full of grease. I had to ask four times for a napkin got our rolls with no napkins and no silverware. Got our salads and had to ask for silverware. The weight was over 30 minutes unless you sat at the bar with empty tables enough servers to wait on those tables and tables being left attended and nasty. Then they delivered our meal house was overcooked and so was mine, but I sent mine back because I was unable to chew it being that I have recently had a stroke when it came back both had no flavor. The potatoes were like mush. The atmosphere in there was awful. There was a waitress with pink hair and she is the one that said Iām not walking that far and then there was a bartender that would not even say anything and as we watched her wait on a table Outside of the bar, she was completely rude to that table. Our waitress was actually nice just not very well trained it seemed to be that there was a lot of servers doing absolutely nothing not taking care of their guest not cleaning up not doing anything. I feel like that was some very very poor management. I hope this helps you fix the problem as a previous business owner and server. I understand how things can get busy itās sad to say that Texas roadhouse is busy as they are their servers. Wait on you and keep everything up and work together as a team I saw very little team players Today at Loganās. I am very disappointed, and I feel almost robbed by having to pay the price for our...
