Newks = ColeSlaw. You just gotta get cole slaw with your meal. Gotta. The stuff is to die for.

My day job is been sending a courier over to Newks once per month to get sandwiches for the office and I finally had a chance to visit myself.

What a great place.

Start with the restrooms. Newks has this little alcove situated between the restrooms. In the alcove is a sink and papertowels. No more having to enter the restroom just to wash your hands. What a fantastic feature and a way to jazz up the decor without resorting to wasteful frills.

Food? HOT, FRESH and like I already said the cole slaw is to die for. Lately I have been getting either the grilled chicken or the club. can't go wrong with either. And their honey mustard is not too spicy or sweet, just right.

Service. a busboy clearing tables.... and cleaning the tables with a sanitize spray. Again, just a step above the typical quick food joints. The waitresses serving the tables are quick and efficient and will grab you extra napkins or whatever with a smile.

Round of applause to the employees here...each one of them is doing a great job from order taker to the busser. I've really never had a bad experience here....but with the way restaurants have been since the pandemic I really have no expectations whatsoever when we eat out. Even in light of that, this experience was our best yet. When we ate here Sat 6/5, the employees were all sweet and so helpful, great customer service attitudes, food was A++, we loved it and appreciate it. One of the servers cleaned up after my Dad accidentally knocked over his water and was incredibly sweet about it, busser was engaging with my 22 mo old, the order taker made a suggestion I never would have thought of regarding our pizza, and like I said the food was excellent. My only criticism was everything seemed super sticky in there...except the floor, which was so slippery I was terrified someone was going to fall...luckily no one did while we were there.
