Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Gulfport

Food: not prepared properly. Service: waitress was amazing floor manager was ok. Hostesses were horrid. Atomosphere was good. We made our reservation online. After walking in I did not know to tell the desk. I thought I was supposed to wait for the text and then tell them. Well after we received our text we advised the hostesses. She asked our name and brushed us off by not saying anything else. Then they started seating customers who received txt after us. Then they commented "here she comes" about a waitress of a different race than them. The waitress basically asked if they had told the prep staff that there was no more butter. The hostess staff told the waitress to get it herself. Then we realized we were supposed to stand in line against the wall. As we watched waitresses of the same race as the hostesses swiftly seating other customers. Then another waitress not of the hostess race came around the corner and called our name grabbed utensils bread and butter and seated us. She apologized and commented we should have been seated almost 10 minutes earlier so she came and got us. This was supposed to be a bit of a celebration for us. We ordered. And the waitress had to go ask about our food twice. My husband ordered a ribeye MW and I ordered a filet MW. when we finally got our food my steak was really chared on the outside and very rare on the inside. Our waitress took it back and of course when I got it back and after being recooked it was totally burned on the outside and medium in the center. I immediately got to go plate and a manager came by and I basically just said we were tired and ready to go. That it was obviously just an off night. Frankly, the hostess staff was playing racially motivated games with the opposite race even assuring the opposite race waitresses only get customers they believe will not tip much. The whole hostess staff was involved and all should be terminated!!! With the same wreckless abandon they treated those of the opposite race. I would further advise the resteraunt management to assure this does not continue by assuring a balance in your staff. As a vetera🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 of the armed services family of the Army who loves this company. We wont ever go back to to...

It took a few minutes to be greeted by our server to get drinks, but it was busy so that gave us time to look at the menu. The host was very friendly and left us with amazing rolls with sweet butter. When our drinks came back we ordered a cactus blossom. Then we ordered an 8oz steak and rib combo. We waited about 20 minutes for our appetizer (the cactus blossom) to arrive and our entree arrived at the same time... then our server came to ask how everything tasted. I said we don't know yet, it all just got here at the same time. She said ok. I'll check back with you shortly. The onion was small... and after trying 1 piece it was raw.... so we placed it at the edge of the table to be taken and ate our entree before it got cold. The steak and ribs were amazing 👏 Tender and full of flavor! Our sides were great as well. We did not see our waitress again until we were done and waiting... she never came back to ask how our food was. She didn't even ask if we wanted another drink or dessert. She did ask if we wanted a box for the onion. I said no thank you. We didn't eat it because it was raw and came out with our food.. she grabbed our plates came back with the ticket and asked if we knew how to use the kiosk. We said yes. She put the ticket on the table and walked off. Now I've been on the restaurant business 15 years... the onion was still on our ticket. A manager never came. I feel the waitress was trying to push us out the door. And I feel it was her fault the onion didn't come out first because she avoided us when she saw it came out with the food... I walked up to the front to ask the host who I could talk to about the onion. The entire team other than our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. We never saw the manager buy the host had them take off the onion. We will be back, but it was a shame we were there to celebrate a job promotion and got stuck with a server who made us feel like we were an inconvenience to be there. P.s. we came as the dinner rush was ending and was out 30 min before they closed. We planned on having another drink and dessert but decided to go somewhere...

Maybe one of the worst restaurants that I have visited. Saturday waited 30 minutes to be seated and after placing the order 45 minutes to receive my food not only that when the food was brought out it was lukewarm had to send it back. Then today March 13th 2018 when back to support Elementary School for a fundraiser I was seated soon as I walk in then the order was placed and receive my order over an hour later. One of the people I was with ordered a hamburger and they had ran out of buns so the manager came out and asked what they like it on Texas toast since they ran out of buns. And when it came out it was on two pieces of white bread. Also the burger was not done as specified didn't want mushrooms on it then want onions on it and didn't want tomatoes on it but lo and behold it had mushrooms bacon lettuce tomatoes onions on White Bread. Also they never received their loaded fries. I ordered chicken strips because of what I ordered the previous Saturday was lukewarm and wasn't good at all so I tried something simple just to help support the school and didn't receive all of my order. So the manager came out and ask what can she do to make it right I said absolutely nothing you yourself specifically said that it would be on Texas toast and it came out on two pieces and it came out on two pieces of white bread really after we have waited for over an hour for some food and you want to try to make it right there is nothing you can do. and started calling to the back to see if somebody had went out and bought some buns it's too late for all that. I would never go there again and I don't see what the big fuss is because they stay crowded. The first time okay they will crowd it so I can kind of understand that but bringing out pretty much cold food that's crazy. And then go back a second time what are not as crowded and have to wait over an hour for some food I would not recommend this...
