Subway — Restaurant in Gurnee

Money grabbers. I ordered sandwiches and while paying for my order I provided a coupon. I was told by cashier Jesus that I couldn't use the coupon. I asked why and he said because "we don't take them anymore and it's been this way for a while". I said that is not true because I used a coupon at the same location a week and a half prior. He said "well I don't know why they let you". He said, "my manager said we couldn't take them anymore". I said where is your signage that says coupons cannot be used. He said a customer ripped it down. I said interesting, well why didn't you all put up another sign. He then shrugged his shoulders. I further explained that their advertisements and coupons are what draws the attention of customers and I wouldn't have ordered what I ordered if I knew you couldn't use coupons. I would have preferred to go to another Subway or restaurant who were more appreciative of their customers. Any Subway who does not participate in accepting coupons have signage posted before ordering. Jesus attitude was very nonchalant and rude. He completely lied to me as well as I used a coupon at the location with another worker. On a brighter note, the employee who made the sandwiches was a sweet guy and customer friendly. Jesus helped the worker make my sandwiches after they wetr toasted and he was rude then as well. He was abrupt, gave one word responses and lacked personality. I will never visit this...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you don't want to read this entire thing, they took my money and didn't give me what I paid for. If you want to be stolen from, this is the place to go!

I ordered 3 subs and 5 cookies. I am NOT from Illinois and was just passing through on a road trip. I got my bag from the woman and left. Started driving and am already on the freeway when my 2 year old's blt is sitting uneaten. I ask what is wrong and come to find out, it's not a blt at all! No big deal. I'll just call to get my money back and buy him something else, since I'm no longer in the area. I call and the lady says she cannot give me a refund because everything else was correct and I took it. Okay, thats fine. I don't want a refund for everything else. Just the sandwich that was incorrect please. Nope! She said that she can't do a refund for individual items, but she can give me in store credit. I reiterated that I am not from here and just passing through. She said she needed to get approval from her manager and that she needed to call them. So I told her to call him then. She said he was the only one who could approve it and kept going on about how she could give me in store credit. I'm like come on now. I don't live here! Then she...

It was the worst experience of my life! Being Vegetarian and highly sensitive to allergies. This establishment mixes everything.. it was scary..if someone is allergic to things they would definitely get allergic reaction. She took cheese that was on top of a meat, and reput back right back in the container after it was already on the sandwich with stuff in it...

I told the lady that it's food and you should be hygenic.. and careful with allergies.. you cant mix things like this...she yelled at me and told me that's 'how she does it'. Big reg flag.. Her name is ELIZABETH, and she claims to be the owner.
