I guess it’s fine if you’re only looking for a bed to sleep in because that’s the only thing about this place that was decent. You’re greeted at the door by a sign that says ‘100% non smoking hotel’ but walk into what smells like a smoke shop. Lady at the desk had so many different papers for me to sign for two rooms and was very confusing in her explanation of things. We booked two rooms and went to check them both out. First room, the key wouldn’t open the door so we go to the second room two floors up. Upon opening that door, we find the room in complete disarray. Beds unmade, smell coming from room, tv on, lights on, obviously room was not serviced or they gave us a key to someone else room. Back down we go. Get the key fixed to go check out the 1st room. It’s fine, but we requested a sofa bed as we needed the extra sleeping space and did not get it. Off to the now, new second room since the other was messed up. This one had no power to the light switches, a huge hole was punched in the wall, the ac unit was ripped out of the wall, so we go once again to get a NEW room. After what ended up being the longest check in in history, we finally settled on the third room which was halfway decent with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom.
Pool is ‘closed’ and I wish I would have read more of the reviews to find that out because no where on the hotels website does it inform you its not working and hasn’t been for at least 5 months. It also sounded like a heard of elephants were staying in the room above us and no matter how many times we’d call for noise at 12am, 2am, 3am, 4am, the stomping continued.
So if you want a comfortable stay do yourselves a favor and GO...
Read moreWould not stay here again unless it was an emergency. We made a last minute reservation for a basketball tournament. Just wanted something decent with a pool.
Front desk staff was doing the bare minimum. No direction on where the room was or which entrance to park near. She just handed me a key and said “here”. I had to ask where the room was and where to park.
The whole place has a stink. It’s a mix of old/musty, cigarette smoke, and weed.
Pool is out of service. This info was listed nowhere when I booked. I paid $20 more to stay here for the pool. Has we known it was unavailable, I’d have stayed elsewhere and saved the money.
The parking lot is a mess. There is one entrance to the road, the rest is connected to a maze of other hotels and restaurants. You can’t make a full circle around the hotel to get out. We got stuck behind a ton of restaurant traffic trying to leave.
The rooms would be decent without that stink and with a carpet shampooer. There were several large stains.
The bathroom was very clean and looks to be recently renovated.
The extra sink in the entryway had a broken drain. It didn’t open at all.
Thermostat had a digital display with some of the number lines missing so it took a while to figure that out and determine what I actually had it set to. It says 68.(See photos)
Several outlets just didn’t work.
Weird list on the back of the door that seemed to not be very relevant. There is no parking garage. I doubt there are any cars being washed by hand.
The bed was fantastic and pretty much the only thing the hotel had going for it.
After all of this, we skipped the breakfast since we weren’t confident in the cleanliness...
Read moreI usually don't dive into the negative review scene, and I'm not out to harm anyone's business, but after my recent stay, I am compelled to give a heads-up to my Navy family and their friends/families planning trips for future graduations in the area. ||||I knew going in that this was a budget hotel and gave a lot of slack to the state of the room repair (including a sign on the mini-fridge recommending guests not use it for perishables??), broken furniture, destroyed AC unit, and generally poor cleanliness. But I didn't expect to have some of my personal belongings taken. When I came back to my room after being out with my daughter, I noticed that my room had been cleaned, but all of my personal belongings in the bathroom were gone! ||||When I brought it up to the front desk, they did nothing more than apologize and promise to ask housekeeping about it. Nothing else! Inexpensive and budget shouldn't come at the price of safety and security. I can accept that some hotels need more maintenance or cleaning, but if you can't keep your guests' personal items safe, then you have failed at a fundamental level. ||||I shared my experience with Wyndham corporate and they deferred me back to the franchise owner of this location and said they passed on my concern. To this day, I've gotten no responses or had anyone reach out about my experience. Based on my experience, I recommend not staying here if you are coming...
