Went in for breakfast today and had horrible service. We waited an hour for our breakfast (there were 3of us). Our waitress came to our table several times with a different story each time of why our food wasn’t ready, and each excuse we were given wasn’t even true. The manager or owner came to our table to let us know our order had never been received and that she would “make it right.” We got our food which was only mediocre, and my husband went to pay. I was hoping the woman that said she would “make it right”, would actually do so, but she only took 50% off our bill. I am sincerely shocked. That isn’t “making it right”, that is legitimately “making money” off unhappy customers. Do not waste your time or money here. Do yourself a favor and make your waffle and eggs at home, as it will most likely taste better and you won’t have to wait an hour for it. If zero stars were an option, I would’ve chose that. Thank you for the opportunity for me to “make it right” with...
Read moreI have eaten here several times. The food is frozen and cheap. The eggs are real but nothing else. Sausage is a thin, nasty hockey puck. The bacon is cooked before they open so it is old, floppy and not fresh. Even the biscuits are frozen. How and why do people from out of state get recommended to this place? It even gets free publicity in Oklahoma magazines and news articles and that boggles me . There is a place in noble called "Tiffany's" that's all home made goodness that is delicious and gets nearly zero recognition. If you are not from ok go there, not here. Let's move on to the building. It's an old shack. The ac blows hot, and the heat blows cold. Wobbly tables and no personal space fill the walls. The wait staff is pretty polite and timely (minus Autumn who is rude and leaves her tables to smoke a thousand times a day). In summary, if you are local, need a quick meal and don't really care about the quality then this is the...
Read moreMy family and I usually prepare our meals at home. We don't eat out very much, we are conscious of what we eat. Katie's has been a great place to get away to. They have good friendly service, and their prices and portions are very good. Where else can you get home style cooking and have breakfast with coffee under $10. This is definitely much better than any fast food joint. Way way much better. This visit there was 4 of us. Everyone commented on how good our service was and how good they liked the food. It was the 1st time I had my cousins from The Flnt Towship in Michigan visit with us.
This place is one of those hidden gems that is always busy. It's a cozy place to eat and visit with friends and family. Anyone who says the food is awful must be jealous and a competitor. There are other breakfast and lunch places in Guthrie. But none as country home...
