I called last week to cancel my membership and was directed to call the Rankin YMCA, due to it being "my home location." Rankin rang off the hook with no answer so I called back to Guthrie and was able to speak with someone else. She said the other lady I'd spoken to "wasn't doing her job" and gave me an email address to send the details about my cancelation, which was sent ON the 12th. Come the fifteenth, my account was charged anyways. Even though I spoke to multiple people and verified the proper email. I called back to voice the issue and an employee assured me that it was taken care of and I'd be receiving my refund early this week. Tuesday morning, still no refund so I called back. The other employee I spoke to this morning said they couldn't do anything for me at this location and to call Rankin (yet again) and seemed to act like she didn't give a shi*. To add insult to injury, she said she'd never even heard of the email that i was given by the other employee.

I shouldn't hear something different from every person I talk to. I shouldn't have to explain my situation over and over. All that's been resolved thus far is that my account was charged and my membership canceled a month early. Come on YMCA, get it together or at least provide your employees with the...

The YMCA in Guthrie, Oklahoma is never open when I have time to go. Every time I come, they are closed for some reason, and have neglected to post that fact anywhere. I am here, school is cancelled for me, and for no reason other than a miniscule amount of freezing and rain, the YMCA is not open. I was coming here to get a membership, and now instead me and my uncle who had to come all the way down here just to see that they were closed, are going to cancel his membership. This is ridiculous. I could have been happy with them simply just posting that they were closed but...
