Nocella's Ristorante — Restaurant in Haddonfield

We got their menu in the mail. We ordered delivery from them twice. The food was decent. The third time we ordered delivery they took the order and charged our card. Over an hour later they called and said we were outside their delivery area and we would have to pick up the food ourselves. We asked why they delivered to us twice before and the woman said she was the owner and she wasn't sure why but we were too far away for them to deliver. She was rude and said that they already made our food and charged our card but we were too far for them to deliver, so the food was available for pickup and she hung up on us. We are at most 10 minutes away. I totally get having a delivery area, but they should have told us that before making our food and charging our card. Or the other two times we ordered delivery from them. The situation was...

We've done take out from here on a number of occasions but decided to give it a shot in person. It was that much better. We split an appetizer, arancini. It had great crunch and a very creamy center. The accompanying red sauce was home made and delicious. Wonderful flavors. The short rib gnocchi was out of this world. Amazingly flavorful and tender short rib (huge pieces too) with pillowly clouds of gnocchi on top of a sauce to die for. We loved our meal. The staff was great too, so friendly welcoming for a family who showed up without a reservation :). I definitely recommend one because the place only seats about maybe 16 people. Been going there religiously since I was told about the place a couple of months ago. Food is always spot on however tonight I asked for sauce on the side for my sons chicken parm. I was told by the lady on the phone ( I believe she is the owners wife) that they would not do it because it would use up another container. I explained that i had gotten it that way twice before and that I was ordering $150 worth of food but would not order unless I could get the one dinner this way. She was so concerned about the price of the additional container that she would not budge. Saddens me to say but I will not go back.
