Provisions Wine & Cheese — Restaurant in Hagåtña Municipality

Wow wow wow!!! Provisions Wine and Cheese is, without a doubt, my new favorite destination on the island. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a beautifully curated selection of wines that offers something for every palate and budget, from excellent everyday finds to special bottles for a celebration.

Beyond the incredible wine, the shop is a treasure trove of imported goods. I was thrilled to find high-quality chocolates all the way from Italy and a wonderful assortment of dried fruits, perfect for pairing.

The standout experience, however, is the service. The knowledgeable lady who runs the shop is an absolute expert. After a brief chat where I mentioned my liking for Barolo, she expertly recommended a Barbaresco. Her recommendation was spot on and truly highlighted her passion and expertise. It's this kind of personalized, knowledgeable service that makes all the difference.

I also hear they have sandwiches available from 11 AM to 2 PM, and I absolutely cannot wait to try one. This place has quickly become my go-to spot in Guam for its fantastic selection and exceptional service.

HOW does this place not yet have reviews? I’ve been here twice, the first as a curious walk-in shopper and the second for a tasting. Very cute and thoughtful decor. The hospitality is fantastic. The clerks are super friendly but didn’t seem super knowledgeable — not a huge problem if you know what you like, and if you don’t, then it probably doesn’t matter anyway. They have a good range of high/low mix, along with Grand Crus and natural/biodynamics if that’s your thing (and it is for me). Generally, you’ll see a great mix of quality new and old world wines that you mostly can’t find in standard grocery stores on Guam. There’s also a small but mighty boutique grocery section with European olives, jams/marmalades, crackers, pasta sauces, cheeses and cured meats.

The tasting was FANTASTIC. Just $65 for six wines and delicious appetizers from Crust (same owner), and the generosity of the pours was honestly insane. Such a fun experience and I can def see making this a regular part of my social calendar with friends. The owner was there mingling and it was fun chatting with him. Will...

Today was my second time going. My sister and I ordered 2 veggie sandwiches, a chicken salad panini, and a butter lettuce salad. We also grabbed 2 bags of chips.

Our order took almost 30 minutes to get to us. Which feels kind of long for an order with majority cold items. Also, the butter lettuce salad was just romaine.
