Vons Chicken Food Mart — Restaurant in Hagåtña Municipality

Went there in a calm, relaxed mood and left 1 hour later regretting the decision.

My wife and I walked in and the two staff behind the counter didn't acknowledge us. Okay, so after about 30 seconds of standing at the doorway, we decided to seat ourselves. There was only one family in the booth next to us and another party of about 12 a couple tables away. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Almost 10 minutes later, one of the staff finally came up to us and asked us if we'd like something to drink. Trying to save time, we decided to order a box of wings at the same time. We got our water a few minutes later, but 30 minutes after ordering we started to wonder about the food. A few more customers had come in by then, both dine-in and take-out. Ten more minutes and we started to get annoyed that it was taking so long to get our food as it had been over 40 minutes since we ordered the food. The final straw was when one customer, the third to walk in after us, got his food before us. It was a full 45 minutes after ordering and the kicker was the staff making eye contact with the wife (as she delivered the other customer's food) before turning around and going back to what she was doing. We were both so disgusted by the poor service that we just got up and left. The wife was going to let the staff know that we were leaving, but they disappeared into the kitchen as soon as we stood up. Ridiculous. We ended up going to Dr. Kabob and had a great meal in under 30 minutes- including the time it took to get there!

This is my spot!!!! I'm kinda addicted to the crispy chicken golden sauce, but 7x spicy is my defualt spice level. I also enjoy the sweet and spicy, which is a popular Korean sauce. Sticky, spicy, and sweet 😋. The first thing I ever tried, though, was the OG oven roasted chicken. Bomb 💣 Rice is always perfect. The workers there are the best! Also, I love that I've seen them change oil so many times! This is a huge deal for me because I can tell if the oil is old and resused. So, if you want really good Korean fried chicken, this location is the best. I like Dededo, too but no one...

The chicken here is really good. I prefer the garlic. However, this last visit I was very dissapointed. I called in my order and was told 15-20 minutes. For some reason only half of my order was ready when I arrived. I waited 45 minutes and the rest of my order never came. Though I was told 4 times that it would be 2-3 minutes longer. I ended up cancelling my order. The staff was apologetic enough and issued a refund quickly and not without rigidity. My order was placed via phone at 4 and wasn't ready even at 4:50 when I left the store. I hope the staff enjoys the dinner I...
