I am repeatedly disappointed in this establishment. Given the close nature to my home (3 miles)for some reason I always decide to give the Garland Groh McDonald's just one more chance. Collectively, as a family we decided tonight, never again. Every Friday I keep my god son overnight (he just turned 2) he likes the happy meals. Also my daughter whom is 16 likes the mango smoothies, this is the main factor in choosing McDonald's as the Friday night treat. Being VERY generous I will say this McDonald's gets our order right from start to finish 25% of the time and like I said, we go there once a week, always through the drive thru. So here is the typical run down. Pull up to order. Generally, the order is taken correctly with minimal issues. Tonight I had to correct the attendant twice. The nugget happy meal was to have apple slices and with a 20 pc. nugget there was to be sweet and sour sauce and bbq. Neither of which were actually corrected. The receipt shows no apple slices and only sweet and sour marked, no big deal, I will just tell them again at the 2nd window- which would have been easy IF the girl running the second window did not have her back to us the entire time. Apparently, with the extra plexiglass put up for COVID 19 it means you no longer need to pay attention to your customers. She literally said 2 words to me and held the window open long enough to shove the bags in my hand and let the window close before she turned her back again. I must have hollered "excuse me" 6 times. The drinks were handed out first, then the happy meal, which didn't have the apple slices in them, mind you, I know the receipt was wrong but I couldn't get her attention to tell her. Then came the sandwiches and nuggets, no sauce at all of course, still couldn't get her attention, then came the fries. Still no sauce, only after not moving from the window did it register to the attendant something must be wrong. She opened the window and I was able to procure the dipping sauces. Finally, transaction was complete. I am one my way home. It takes me just under 4 minutes to get home, I live very close. So in that time, if the french fries are hot, they are still relatively hot by the time we eat. These fries were borderline icy. I can tell an old fry, I was once a fast food manager. Fries are crisp when they are even semi fresh. These were limp and soggy. Actually disgusting was the word that was most used, we couldn't eat them and had to throw them away. Then came the 20 pc nugget (which I also threw away) they were stone cold and shriveled. So dried up that the edges had a slight curl to them and nearly half the thickness of normal nuggets. Those to had been in a warmer for what I could only guess was half the day to be that dehydrated, and there was only 19 nuggets, not 20, which in the grand scheme of things since they were thrown out, didnt really matter. Why didn't I call and complain? Quite frankly, I'm tired of calling, i have receipts in my purse with managers names on them, my name, I am sure is on a list with items that are owed in in the manager's office. Half those items are because we never recieved them or because of instances like these. I feel strange going in there with receipts and having to explain what happened and collect on them. But tonight, it was decided enough was enough, McDonald's just cant get it right and it's more hassle than it's worth. We no longer will visit this establishment. It is lacking in training, customer service, food quality, attentivness to both customers and urgency. It really is just plain sad for a company that monitors it's environmental impact on energy and waste so profusely to let the simple standard of customer service and quality food output to be so lackadaisical and downright inedible for such a large percentage of the time. Especially, since there was only one other patron in the drive thru and no customers that I saw inside. To me, thar means the food should be fresh, very obviously I must have recieved what was meant for the...

Drove out of the way to specifically come to McDonald's instead of the other hundred restaurants in the area.... And while the inside was open, we were told we weren't allowed to buy anything at the front counter- that we had to go through the drive through and come back in to eat if we wanted to buy anything. This was at 9 pm, and they don't close til midnight. Made no sense whatsoever..... But, we got in the car and decided to at least get drinks here, And then sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes because the two cars in front of us ordered food (didn't look like a lot since they each only got one bag). Either way, what an absolute waste of time for a few drinks and cold fries.
**Update. 9 months later (2/8/23) Came through at 10 a.m. and ordered a smoothie. The line was slow moving, despite there being only one car ahead of me (at the pay window). She was complaining about something though, so that's understandable that it took a moment. The young short dark-haired lady working the pay window was very patient and nice as I looked for change and the latina lady at the pick up window was very friendly! Greeted me and confirmed what I was waiting on. Much happier this visit. (How the employee treats me means a lot and goes along way especially when something goes wrong or if you have to wait a few minutes etc. These ladies nailed the art of finessing a waiting customer...
Read morePlaced an order through the app. Pulled into curbside at 7:15 pm. At 7:20 girl came out and asked me what I ordered - no big deal gave her my order. At 7:23 app said we hope you enjoy your food - still have received our order. At 7:38 pm I call the store and ask where my order is girl says we have your 6 filets but the girl never told us the rest of your order so I told her the rest of my order and asked if we were going to be served the cold filets and if we would be compensated for the wait she hands the phone to someone else. Said person says she is going to walk out and talk to me. I explain we have been here for a long time and ask for a refund and she says she can’t do a refund and since I have worked for McDonalds I asked why not she said well do you have a receipt I said no only on my phone since you haven’t given me a paper receipt yet. I said you can hit refund and ring in my order to process a refund. She then asks for my order again. I asked her if she wanted me to call Sadia (the owner) she said well I guess if you want (I’m guess she doesn’t know she is the owner) and goes inside. A few minutes later she comes out with Chuck (GM) on the phone without my refund or food. I again just ask for my food. Finally after almost an hour I received my food with NO receipt. All 6 filets tasted old, Big Mac was cold and nuggets were cold and there was no BBQ sauce in the bag. The managers attitude was horrible and she should...
