I love coming to this place. I work not to far from here and would stop by this place by myself for a quick meal. It’s a small place so as soon as you walk in, you see all the table and a little counter for the cashier and the cook behind it. It’s cute and quaint.
You can sit wherever, immediately greeted by the waiter. Then they would bring you a cup of water and the menu without asking. I love that, for I always have to wait on my water any where else.
I ordered, today, a wonton soup and B2, grilled pork and egg roll with noodles. The wonton soup , I think is meant to be a cup size soup but I feel like it’s a full size bowl.I’m not complaining but it was a big portion. It doesn’t take long for the food to be prepared. As soon as I got the food, the smell is a big indication that the food will taste just as good. Everything was delicious! On the table, you are already set with their hot chili oil, hoisin sauce and soy sauce and eating utensils. Other restaurants charge you for their chilli oil, so this was a big plus!
So all in all, food was delicious and reasonably priced. my whole meal was roughly $21. The service is always amazing. It’s usually 2 ladies that I always see and they are always so friendly and never allow for my cup to be empty, I appreciate that. A must go to if your in the...
Read moreWe had three entrees for lunch and we're really full when we left, two would have been enough but we really wanted to try a variety of dishes.
We started with Bun Nem Nuong Tom Tau Hu Ky, this is a Vietnamese noodle salad served cold with Vietnamese dipping sauce what you just pour all over the salad. These are tasty anytime but especially good on a hot summer day when you want something delicious but don't want hot food.
Next we tried Hu Tu Cam, this is a Vietnamese soup with mixed Meats including shrimp, squid, fish balls pork and chicken, this is really nice on a cold day like today. One of the marks of this dish being authentic was the lettuce in the soup.
Then we moved on to Com Suon Cha Op La, this dish is served with broken rice which is regular white rice but broken into bits and cooked slightly differently so there's a slight crunch to it my Vietnamese wife said that was how it was supposed to be. There was probably twice the amount of rice you would get at a Chinese restaurant but this is actually the way Vietnamese and other Asian dishes are supposed to be served with lots of rice.
My wife was pleased enough to already make plans for a couple of more trips here one on her birthday and another one our youngest son visits...
Read moreI dined in here today and the service was amazing. The food was very good too. We ordered C7, S9, and the wonton soup (their menu is on their website). And we ordered a couple of Thai iced teas, of course! Everything was delicious. It's not too expensive, either. I used to come here with my family a lot a couple years ago, and the food is exactly how I remember it: warm, flavorful, and filling. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the gentleman who took my payment at the register was very kind as well. The restaurant was clean and the servers were quick to clear dishes. The menus are also so nice and cool, they feel like a book with the leather exterior. 10/10 experience, just as I remember it. I will come here again. Also, I want to highly emphasize the SERVICE here! The food is a 10/10, but the service is too. Thank you for having amazing and sincere servers, Pho Viet. Please treat them with the love and respect they deserve, because from what I have seen, they treat their guests with love and respect. Everyone who came into the restaurant while we were dining in to pick up an order, dine in themselves, et cetera, were greeted warmly and helped in a professional manner. I...
