We were able to take advantage of the "All You Can Eat/Endless Shrimp" promotion last weekend for just $17.99 and we had a fantastic experience. Having eaten at many Red Lobster restaurants over the years and through out the country, it's a mixed bag of reviews. Sometimes the prices is high for the quality of food, service and ambiance. Some "all you can eat" specials aren't worth it because they drag out each serving so that you are waiting with no food to eat for 10-20 minutes. Not so with this Red Lobster.
The restaurant was clean, and our server "Makayla" was just lovely. You can order 2 choices at a time and I ordered Shrimp Scampi and the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp with rice pilaf and broccoli. The food was hot and fresh. I can't eat the delicious cheddar biscuits due to food allergies, which allowed me to pig out on the shrimp! Sorry to say my broccoli was ignored as well. My husband ate the biscuits and enjoyed the shrimp alfredo, the fried shrimp, the shrimp scampi and the Parmesan crusted shrimp. I was able to fit 2 more orders each of my shrimp by passing on the pasta and bread.
Our waitress was so helpful and quickly added are additional orders so that we didn't have to wait long. I'm always impressed when a manager shows up at all to check on things. It was Saturday night and very busy, and he not only checked on us, he carried away dirty dishes which, to me, is very complimentary to his leadership.
Makayla was kind to send my husband's Peach flavored ice tea in a to-go cup, and she packaged up his left over shrimp, my broccoli, and fresh biscuits to take home with us. This is one of the better Red Lobster stores in terms of cleanliness and service. We'll...
Read moreFirst let me start off with saying im not a big fan of. sea food. i guess it might be because im from ohio wich is considered east coast i guess but far enough away you know you arent going to get any real fresh seafood thats not been frozen for a. wèek or who knows.how long. but i will eat shrimp. and i did try these bacon wrapped scallops that were great but. never seen them offered again. But back to the Red lobster i didnt go in and sit down. and order a full dinner i wasnt far away and i had to go back through hagerstown coming back from Williamsport because my lil Chihuahua passed away the previous night and i took her to valley pet for a cremation with a earn and a custom engraved plate. and i barely got to eat the previous day had a.early dr apt in hagerstown that morning so didnt get breakfast. and. i was thinking hmm ill be coming back through this way and the only restaurant in my tiny town is a applebees.wich is literally a hit or big miss.So i placed a to go order through the online order app for some coconut shrimp and cheddar biscuits Which i expected to be a lil old stale batch since i wasnt an eat in diner.and the pina colada dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp is just delicious. i didnt make it out of the parking lot before of course sampling the food. the bisquits were like they just came out the oven and just buttered and shrimp were perfect. biscuits were fresh, outside slightly Crusted inside Hot butterly delicious. Food Rating definitely an A+. Hope my Rambling helps someone.if you love coconut shrimp there is a frozen brand that comes with a mango habanero dipping sauce that is pretty good its no Red Lobster but they definitely work when u...
Read moreThere were two couples in Our party. Two of us got The ultimate feast and the other two did they build your shrimp meal. We all had the same experience. The food was very tasteless. We also got the stuffed mushrooms, and I got the clam chowder. The portions were extremely small, including the baked potato, The soup, the Scallops and shrimp scampi had four shrimp and very tiny morsels of scallops, which none of it had a taste. The skewer of grilled shrimp did not have much of a taste. Two of us purchased shrimp Alfredo, which the noodles were hard around the edges and the Alfredo sauce was not creamy at all. It was just a glob in the middle of the noodles and when it was stirred around it, not even all of the noodles, I took two bites and threw the rest away. It was as if it had been made the night before and set out in the air too long that the noodles were hard around the edges that were not covered in Alfredo sauce. It definitely was not made fresh. My husband and I spent $97.00 just for the two of us and I feel that is very expensive to begin with, but to get this quality of food on top of it is unacceptable. The last time we went to red lobster prior to this visit, the food was not as good then either, we had taken a break from there for a while and after this trip, we will not be coming back. The four of us in our group are all in agreement to this. If we are going to spend $43 on a meal it should be enjoyable. The restaurant was not full by any means. It was very dead. I am assuming that other people are getting the same quality of food and maybe that is why it is not a busy restaurant anymore. Donât look for this place to be open for long if...
