Taqueria La Mordida — Restaurant in Half Moon Bay

Terrible! The first time I went there the food was great I was impressed.it had to be about June. I was excited to come back I've been back three times since then and evertime they make my meal different and is missing something.. I usually order the fillete de pescado... The first time it was perfect.rice beans and fish with plenty of red sauce on the fillet. A good sized Salad with slices of avocado on a different plate. Whish it should be that way for the salad 👗 to stay away from the rest of the meal... Since I've been back they be forgotten my salad gave me a shredded plain lettuce with bits of tomato when I reminded them.. today I went there the salad was was mostly tomato no lettuce with avocado tossed on top and the fish was had no sauce on it. I had to drive back to the restaurant to get it... And .. and they've just raised the prices.. and they still don't have it right. The price for fish fillet jumped from11.75 to 15.75.. what am I paying extra for!!! So I can o drive back every time you forget an item out of the meal... Give me a break! So I'm use to these mistakes but what set me off was the cashier was rude. She interrupted my transaction when I was ready to pay to answer the phone n instead of asking the person to wait. She asked me to wait. Even though I was first in line before the caller..they need a boost on their customer...

First, I would love to compliment them on their famous “California burrito”. A huge, two tortilla burrito filled with everything a burrito has but with fries and salsa. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Second, their micheladas are just as good. Filled to the brim with delicious michelada mix and shrimp, make sure to get one to wash down your food.

La Mordida offers a full salsa bar with mixed pickled veggies and 4 types of salsa. They also offer all you can eat chips that are served warm.

A lot of food, Friendly service, good price. This is located near the north end of the main part of half moon bay near a small shopping center with a McDonalds. It may seem like a small shop but it has very friendly staff, excellent food and lots of it. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered a burrito and I could have made two meals from it. The chips were a little hard and the salsa was a little spicy for my taste buds. The place seems a favorite of the area and was very busy when we went there but the food came out quickly. Great place to eat in...
