Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Halfway

Worst experience ive ever had at at restauraunt in a while. I came in the location at 8:40 Thursday night it was half off fajitas. Me my wife and my 2 year old daughter were sat in a booth. After already knowing what we wanted drinks and everything already planned. I look around as it wasnt very busy for my server. 15-20minutes passed as i lounge back in the booth looking at every employee possible to try to get somebodys attention that i havent been served.a very kind server finally approached us and got our drink orders and my appetizer in. He informed us that our server was busy as i watched her with only one table beshevaled and overwhelmed. She finally approaches us over 30 minutes later and we needed to order fast because i had to take my wife to work by 10pm. We order and my wife and daughters drinks come by the same first server that was so kind to put in our drinks delieverd them. My drink a magarita on the other hand sat at the bar as i watched it for 20 more minutes until the same server that wasnt mine brought it to me. Our appetizer after 45mins came out the cheese bites were hot anx the egg rolls were hot. But the boneless wings were freezing cold. We were so hungry we didnt bother to complain and ate them quickly as my 2 year old daughter grew more hungry. As 9:45 approaced quickly and there was no sighn of my daughters kids meal and our fajitas we orderd i walked up to inform are server we couldnt wait much longer that i needed a few boxes so i can get my wife to work on time. There was no body else in the restauraunt at this time it was just me my wife and my daughter all the other tables ate and left. Boxes and the sides that come with the fajita were boxed up. She informed me oh sorry i coudlnt get it sizzled as i try a small bite of some of the steak and. Chicken it was bone cold. Thats not even the worst part i asked for some shrimp on the side. Which arrived in a to go cup they were so small and frozen looking i scarfed them down. The bill came and they informed me the check was 50% off i didnt even complain to them about any of this. The total was 20$ i gave the server 40 because i dont believe in getting discounts i just want the food to be good. And i know the server doesnt make minimum wage and relies on her tips. I will not be coming back to this location after this experience just wish something can be done. The 2 stars is for the server that helped us he deserves 5 stars that atleast showed some effort for every...

I just got home from my visit to Chili's in Hagerstown. My experience there was a huge disappointment. I took my girlfriend there for a late dinner, after standing at the host podium for 5 mins, were we shown to our table. The server took our drink order and wanted to take our food order, i advised her we just sat down and would like to look at the menu. She came back 10mins later and took our order. We ordered the Dip Trio for an appetizer, we also gave her our meal order. I ordered the Triple Dipper and my girlfriend ordered the Smokehouse combo. The dinner entrees came out 35-40mins later, i asked the Server for our appetizer because we were still waiting for basically chips and queso. The server brought out the appetizer 5 mins later, it obviously was sitting for a while, the queso was room temperature, the dips tasted "meh", not interesting at all. The chips were so thin, you couldn't dip them because they would break apart going into the cool queso.

My Triple Dipper was a huge disappoinment, the Nashville Mozz tasted like they were dipped in grease, honestly they tasted like crap. The Southwest egg rolls were decent tasting and my two sliders tasted so dry, i had to take sips from my tea to help the taste. My girlfriend's dinner was the chicken crispers, chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, french fries, and the street corn. The chicken crispers were dripping grease, the french fries were cold, the quesadillas were dripping grease as well. I can honestly say the best tasting part of both dinners and appetizer was the street corn and that room temperature as well. The service was as unattentive as you could imagine. It was a different server who brought out the food, our regular server came back to check on us after we were done eating, we asked for a box, she brought out the box and walked away. Our drinks were never refilled nor were we asked if we needed a refill. The only positive part of our experience was the place was clean. I will never go back to this circus, i would get better service going to McDonalds. I would suggest to anyone to skip going to the Hagerstown Chili's and eat somewhere else, anywhere else...

I have tried this location a few times. My first experience when they first opened, I ordered the Margarita Grilled Chicken, what I ended up getting was grilled bbq chicken that was very dry. Everytime I have come since there is no host and I have to wait up to 5 mins to be seated. The restroom is usually a mess. The waitstaff have always been prompt and courteous, which is the only reason I give 3 stars. I like to sit in the bar area and a few times the waitress was tending bar which slowed service. Not their fault and they were busting their butt to do two jobs. My most recent visit was about a week ago. I called make a to go order. The waitress that took my order was not very friendly and abrupt. When I arrived no one was there and I waited a few minutes looking through the menu, the same person that took my order came over asked if I ordered checked for my name. While she was getting my food another waitress came over to check if I had been greeted. She was very cheerful and friendly. The other waitress came back with my food. She rang me up I gave her the credit card receipt. When she saw I didnt tip her she took the receipt and just walked away with an attitude and said nothing. No thank you, no goodbye have a nice day. Nothing. Just for the record when I dine in I always tip and very well. Im not difficult or nit picky. I know things happen, people make mistakes, and sometimes you just dont feel like being at work that day. I get it. I never reduce a tip for something that is not there fault. I dont appreciate staff being disrespectful to customers, especially for no reason. This person does not belong in customer service.

Nov 07 2018. Update. Got a reward for free app. So wanted to give this location another try since its close to work. Had a good experience this time. The bardender that waited on me very helpful. Checked on my order even though i told him i just ordered it a few minutes ago, came out of kitchen to let me know the to go cashier was boxing my order. She was also very nice. Very prompt service. No problem redeeming...
