Tu Pizza — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

It’s my second time in this cafe. The first experience was great, I was super hungry and enjoyed the Stromboli a lot. Since that time I’ve been wanting to visit this place again, but I came on Monday and it was closed..( today, Friday, I came again. Google maps say it opens at 11:30, i came at 12 and it was still closed. In several minutes a woman with loose long hair opened the pizza place. I was watching her thinking that maybe now she’ll pick up her hair in a ponytail at least for the time when she’s in the kitchen, but that didn’t happen. I mean I haven’t found a hair in my dish, but I just think that by the rules of kitchen employees should cover their hair. Another thing that I didn’t really like is that the Stromboli itself wasn’t that delicious as I tried before. The ingredients were cold inside, only the bread was hot. It was like as If the oven didn’t warm up enough yet. The guy the cook said the dish would be ready in 8-10 minutes but it really took him more. It’s ok, I understand the process can go longer than expected. Another moment is that I entered the cafe when they just opened so I expect the tables to be clean, not with crumbs… All in all, the atmosphere there was quite nice. I liked when they turned on the music...

This little gem is worth coming to check out. Went to get some 🍕 for my son, and ended up getting the 16' pizza deal with a 2 liter soda for $15, that's available on Wednesdays. Let me start with the welcoming smile that I received from Jose as I walked in, to the immaculate and attentive service. The place was spotless and very organized. You have the view, while they are making your goodies, which it's an A+ in my book. They have many Italian goodies to choose from whether it's Stromboli to Eggplant Parmesan, Italian deserts, sodas, beers, even a mini chocolate chip stand. And for you classic rock lovers, this is a place that you will enjoy dining in, or you have the option to sit outdoors. While I waited (a short time), my time was well enjoyed listening to Led Zeppelin. Oh, and did I mention that they do deliver? Yes. They do. I was curious and went to check this place out, first I went in and chose my seat since I advised I would be eating in. Took a bit till finally got someone which is weird since I was the only client. I ordered the pizza nothing but cheese and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was okay it wasn't fresh, to be candid I was disappointed it was a bit soggy and no real taste from the sauce or the cheese. The mozzarella sticks were made in old oil, I could tell because they tasted off and made me feel sick afterwards. I never had any one check up on me and only when I was paying was the new person taking my payment friendly. This place has potential but seems like everyone kind took a back seat on every thing the first time I visited. The attention to making sure food taste fresh and good was definitely off the table. They have an extensive menu of items, but kinda weary that the taste may not...
