Sport of Kings Theater — Attraction in Hallandale Beach

Considering hosting your event there? Think twice! To book this venue, your only option is to contact RAY BRIELS, director of catering. She has a phone number and email address on the website, but she doesn't respond to either. Only once, I was able to actually speak to her on the phone, we agreed to meet and she asked me to text her my email address to get more technical details about the venue. Texted her right away (it was 45 days prior to this review) and never heard back from her since, despite multiple text messages, calls, voicemails and emails during this time... She didn't even bother showing up for our meeting to see the place, so I literally had to come back there multiple time because nobody knows where she is and one time I just got lucky since there was a preparation for a concert so I was able to get inside and check it out, hoping that she will eventually respond back. Since they do occasionally have concerts, I can only assume that she heard my accent over the phone, since I'm a foreigner from Ukraine, figured that she doesn't want to deal with me and simply ghosted. Thus was very unfortunate because the venue is actually nice, but seems like she has one of the top positions at the casino, therefore she can do whatever she wants without any repercussions, even discriminate... Save yourself time, headache and look elsewhere. There are plenty of great venues in Broward and Miami Dade, like Bandshell, MAPS, Fillmore, etc. that have great management...

Great location and place is big. Security is arrogant and has no respect to people. They were pushing and bouncing with shoulders at the concert. Also trying to get into fight with peaceful visitors, making comments and setting restrictions. Ridiculous behavior and restricted area invented by themselves with no control from management. Also it was not allowed to use your phone with flashlight - IT’S A CONCERT!!! So for the tickets we bought they destroyed all the good mood. Terrible experience at my favorite singers’ concert. Also I found security behaving racist as performer was singing Rap in Russian and was white. They should definitely overview security workers and give more respect to clients. would not recommend visiting for concerts unless you have table...

I've only been once and it was when Tank performed so therefore it was packed so the vibe and people was definitely there and music was good. It closes at 2 but he didn't get on stage till a few minutes after 1 but before 1:30 so we didn't even enjoy much of him. They need to make sure their artists are there sooner.
