Last night around 8:30pm, my girlfriend entered Big Joe's Pizza and Pasta located at 2733 Denton Highway to order dinner. Per her story, an unnamed employee took her order as normal procedures. While she was waiting for the food that the unnamed employee took it upon his self to sit beside her while she scrolled through her phone. As he sat next to her, he directly asked her, "Do you have any nude photos?" My girlfriend questioned his language, but said employee continued to ask if she had any nude photos she has possibly taken while naked in front of a mirror. The disgusting approach from the employee did not end there but he continued to question her relationship status even though my girlfriend stated she had a boyfriend. He stated he was not a jealous type and touched her ring finger in reference to a lack of ring. She was asked for her age and if she would date an older guy. As she waited for the food, she had to endure a prolong situation of sexual harassment and only found temporary solace when the food came out. A second unnamed employee unnecessarily caressed her hands as he handed her the bag. When it came to attention of what occurred, I solely went back to the restaurant to return the food and express my disgust with the employee. The employee admitted to me of the occurrence and it was in my best judgement to call the police. This type of behavior is unacceptable and grossly obscene but the police officer, per the Sergeant as well, found the actions of the employee short of sexual harassment. I am in disbelief that no charges were filed for any penal code offenses as behavior such as this is clearly a violation of 42.07. The request of nude photos is an obscene proposal insinuating sexual intercourse or to perform an act of masturbation. The perverted employee should be held accountable for his actions, even more so while at his place...
Read moreThis place used to be a good restaurant in haltom city. Been there about 10 times since i have lived here. Today i ordered 3 pizzas a slice and some garlic knots for my family who was visiting from out of town. The young person on the phone was extremely rude. He got my order wrong the first time after repeating it to me. So i had him add a pizza on he forgot. I asked him to repeat the order again, as i wanted to make sure the order was correct. I wanted to be sure to keep my family happy. He told me"do we really have to go through this again?" He repeated it grudgingly and said it would be 20 minutes. He then asked if i was sure which location it was which i did. I hung up the phone, and probably would not have picked it up if my family wasnt expecting it, he was rude. I went there 20 minutes later to pick it up and my brother told him he was there to pick him up. He turned around and went to go get the pizzas. My brother whispered to me that he didnt seem that bad. I thought to myself that maybe i misunderstood or it wasnt him. I wasnt going to say anything. Then he turned around and said" im not repeating your order again, its not funny." I was really angry at this point and said hey i was the one you talked to not him. I told he he sucked and would not be back. He started mouthing off and i told him that he sucks and his customer service sucks, and it would be the last time i would be there. At that point a lady came out to see what the problem was. I told her that i hope she was the manager and that the young mans customer service was terrible and i wouldnt be back. I walked out at that point. If you want good customer service,...
Read moreOk so we usually come here a few times a month and its always worth it. We always order the spaghetti and chicken alfredo with a pizza. Never fails. That being said we'd definatly notice a change in these dishes. We just left here from ordering these same dishes and when it came out to us they were about 4x SMALLER portions than usual. (We always have enough for leftovers to go) which is why i personally always order the chicken alfredo because i have enough to Take home for later that evening. But today was a surprise we both instantly noticed as soon as it came out. Wasnt going to complain because they know us here and are use to us coming in regularly. Before we left (there was obviously no to go) another customer came inside and personally asked the man behind the counter "excuse me but have you guys cut back on your portions? Ive noticed it seems that way" where as we were about 4 ft away and acknowledged we thought the same thing as well. But the employee disagreed and simply stated no. We all knew they had clearly downsized. Im just saying its obvious. The other customer also knew but was shutdown when we also agreed we noticed too. Guess they dont want people knowing or discussing it. So it wasnt really worth the 45$ we spent. It was less than a serving youd put on a paper plate at home. And the pizza we got sauce tasted like bland tomato sauce.... I dont know why they have downsized. Maybe a new employee who dont know the usual sizes or maybe theyre trying to save ingredients. 2 stars....
