IHOP — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

Never again ! We went for breakfast we waited 45minutes for a table no problem . We sit down we eat , we are talking and enjoying breakfast . Our server Adolfo is nice at the start, then when he hears that he has a 10 top coming to his section and they need our booth to set it up he begins to rush us , stand over our table while my friend is still eating, and drinking her coffee. He was upset that she asked for her coffee to be topped off, because he wanted us up and out . Adolfo brings the check without us asking for it while we still eating! So if we wanted anything else we werent getting it! When he brings us the check it isnt our check, it the table next to us that had already paid, he mixed the checks up because he is rushing so bad for this 10 top table, I bring it to his attention he corrects the check and then stands at the head of the table while my friends has to wolf down her food because he is ready for us to go . My friend gives him the money and tells him to just take it because you standing there while im eating , just take the rest of the food I didnt eat and go . He says am not rushing you , she says you are your standing here forcing me to eat my food so you can get the table , then he stands there waiting for a tip ! The damn nerve of this man to stand and wait for a tip when he rushed us to eat we damn near choked the food down so we can get up ! I hope that 10 top tipped him very well and got the best service that we didnt get ! AND YES WE STILL TIPPED HIM FOR HIS POOR RUSH SERVICE!!...

Went out for breakfast on my sons birthday. They had signs plastered all over about them being short staffed, and I could see why lol this place likely has bad management & a high turn over rate from the impression we got there.

It was slow & early when we arrived, barely anyone there. The server was polite but seemed to be confused on the iPad while taking our orders, and accidentally rang in modifications we didn’t ask for. The food came out cold, the bacon was rock hard & burnt, and the eggs were under done.

I told the waitress & she first tried to blame it on the air vents lol even though my food just came.

I asked if they could remake my French toast & she reported back to me that “the staff said they’re not making that over, they’ll only microwave it.” Absolutely not. I’m not paying for microwaved soggy French toast with melted whip cream, so I simply asked her to take it off the bill. She told me a manager would be right over, they never came. I wasn’t surprised. I asked her to have the burnt bacon remade, and it came out .. better, but not good.

We packed up what did come out fine and left. I work in the same industry so I’m very patient but it honestly was an outright poor experience. IHOP used to be such a good spot. Not anymore.

Had this been the only plans for his birthday it would’ve been a real let down. Oh & had this been a better experience, we would’ve spent a lot more money. Unfortunately we just wanted to leave.

Hire new management....

We waited in line as it was a Friday afternoon and there was a couple in front of us and a family behind us. My boyfriend asked the hostess if he could use the bathroom while we were waiting and she gave him the dirtiest look, even the couple in front of us said something. She went to seat me and I told her it was for 2 people. When she asked if I was still waiting for him to arrive I said that I was with the gentleman in the bathroom. As soon as I said this she scoffed and sat us in the booth directly next to the hostess stand. He was walking up and she looked at him again to the point he asked her nicely is something was wrong. She then continued to give us dirty looks the entire time we were eating. She went to our server and began talking to him in spanish while consistantly looking our way. Being a server myself I am an outstanding tipper and understand shortcomings so it is extremely rare that I criticize someone, and even more rare that I leave someone a bad review. However, I am extremely upset at with treatment we received. Im not sure what we could of even done to deserve it being that we hadn't eaten here in months and didn't know any of the employees there. Looking back i wish we had spoke to a manager but I was just so uncomfortable we couldn't wait to leave. We took 2 bites and left. Will never set foot in that store again which is unfortunate considering I just moved across the street and am a huge lover...
