Cannabist — Local services in Hamilton Township

As a recreational user, I was excited upon hearing this location was opening Dec 2024 as it's a lot closer to home than my current cannabis dispensary. Dec, however, came and went with no sign of opening. I made several trips to the location in Jan when it did open only to find it's for medical use only, but I was told it would be opening Feb for recreational sales. It's now Feb 8th, and I just went back there again only to be told it will now be March. This, however, sounded more like a vague guess than a confirmation. In the meantime my requests for updates on their website have gone unanswered. I understand that they are waiting for permits to be approved, but how about at least answering questions or providing updates so we don't keep wasting our time driving over there, only to be disappointed again with non-answer answers. For me, this shows a lack of regard for potential recreational customers, and I for one have no faith in their customer service and will be staying with my current dispensary. Website states that the store is open for medical and recreational (Aka Adult use) customers, then immediately contradicts itself by stating that it is only open for medical patients. Why even have the first statement on the website if it is false??? Actually just a huge waste of my time today, not sure why we can’t just have coherent and straightforward messaging on the website. Here’s a little note, if I read “this store is open for medical patients and recreational customers” I’m not going to continue reading because I’m not expecting you to contradict yourself in literally the next statement. Honestly a little pathetic to have incorrect info present on a website THIS FAR into cannabis legalization...

I’m sorry but when you suddenly change your hours then fail to reach out to ESTABLISHED customers WHOM Place orders and who show up at 6:01 AND ARE TURNED AWAY I found this very unprofessional … too many dispensaries are open till 8 or later … you know to service people that actually work for a living and don’t get off until later….. if you’re in this game to make money, you need to accommodate your customers your hours really don’t suggest that when you can go to five other dispensaries within 5 miles that are open till nine or...
