Jocko's Chicken & Seafood — Restaurant in Hamilton

Where has Jocko's been hiding my whole life? I got the fish & tenders value meal so I could try both the fish and chicken. Wow! Scratch made biscuits and cole slaw? Both excellent!! The fish was nicely battered and perfectly cooked. The fish inside was moist and flaky. And, large cuts of fish too. Way beyond expectations for a fast food restaurant. 🙂 About that value part of the value meal... The chicken tenders looked and smelled fantastic, but I chowed down on the fish and sides to the point that I was already full before I even got to the chicken!! Those chicken tenders were gigantic! It looked like they (Jocko's) took a single large chicken breast and split it in half to make the 2 tenders. I can't wait until I'm hungry again to try them too. Now that's true value for just $13.99, INCLUDING a soft drink as well. I'll be back here soon and often. Great job Jocko's. I now understand why your motto is "World famous". Only 3 stars on the atmosphere, because it needs to be updated, but the place was spotlessly clean!! Again, well done...

Ordered a #5 combo with green beans and hush puppies instead of biscuits and Pepsi no ice. The cashier obviously didn't listen as I had to repeat my order again 1 item at a time. Then she repeated the order back to me.I sat at drive thru a very long time before my order was taken. Only 1 vehicle in front of me. After placing my order, I wasn't even acknowledged at the window. I sat at the window for a few minutes then the cashier hands me the soda(full of ice) I let her know it's not supposed to have ice. She was nice and apologized and fixed the soda. She handed me my order with out my sauce that I had ordered twice at the speaker and she even repeated it to me correct. I work 5 minutes away and my food is old and cold. My tenders are dried out and very old. I paid for it at 1:38pm today. After all the waiting one would think it would have been to wait for the fresh food coming out of the fryer.... not happy with Jackos today. They usually give good food. We tried Jocko’s Chicken and Seafood for the first time this evening. We ordered through the drive thru which was a good experience. Cashier was polite and our order was correct and efficient, very little wait time. We live only about 7 minutes away. Food however was different story. I read previous reviews and decided to try the Fish and Shrimp meal with green beans. Also tried small order of chicken livers. Shrimp was fried to perfection- very good. Fish was really greasy and just not good. Hush puppies were kinda just a lump of dough- not seasoned. Green beans similar, no seasoning. Small order of chicken livers filled container but same as fish, very greasy. Soft drinks were good and along with the shrimp were highlight of the meal. My opinion is to just pass this place by. Better choices available. Definitely no...
