Luke's Custom Cakes — Restaurant in Hamilton

I started getting cupcakes after trying his delicious cake at a few of my family members events and parties from Luke before he opened his storefront and I have been obsessed ever since. In 2021 I emailed him to make sure I had my cake scheduled in advance because I know spots fill up very fast. His store had their grand opening on my actual birthday and I had every intention of going but unfortunately my grandfather’s health took a turn for the worse so while I still was going to pick up my cake I could not go. My brother was in town and picked it up for me. I special ordered a specific design cake. Luke went above and beyond to deliver. It turned out better than expected. My grandfather passed away the day after and it was a difficult year. Last year I didn’t really feel like celebrating but my mom surprised me with a gorgeous custom cake from Luke’s. Luke and his staff definitely went above and beyond to meet what my mom asked them for. My cake of course was gorgeous. Actually almost too gorgeous to eat but you know I couldn’t resist! I don’t go there often but when I do they are always very nice and his space is incredible! I love Luke and his staff. They may not have known what I was going through which to why I could not make it to the grand opening but truly they made it special just by being so patient and kind. The cupcakes are delicious, had the lemon blueberry… we honestly need more cupcakes with custard and these were AMAZING. And also the blackberry cupcake, it was not as good but still tasty, as the lemon. After that I decided to get a cake for my besties birthday. I needed to read the description a little better because I thought I had ordered a bigger cake but turns out I ordered a smaller one lol it was a bit pricey and after I saw the size I was not confident that it was worth the cost. HOWEVER, after we cut into it and figured out the correct portion to feed all our guests, everyone raved about how good it was, and it was a happy accident ordering that size because it turned out to be perfect. It was 4 layers of goodness, super moist and the icing wasn’t overwhelming sweet. No leftovers and everyone got some. 10/10 recommend. Completely worth every penny. We will order cakes here again, but I will pay more attention next time...

The food is amazing but not worth it. It's expensive and the employees seem nice but they're fake, especially the blonde short hair girl with a nose hoop. I got 40 cupcakes ($215) for my daughters 5th birthday and was suppose to pick them up on friday may 17th 2025 and the lady said changing to Saturday would be better because i needed it for sunday and it would be fresher. I did so but didn't know they closed so early 3......I had so much to do and didn't receive any courtesy call 😕 so they closed and were closed sunday so I had to make a mad dash to walmart.
