Came in with my service dog, wearing his very easily seen vest. Right away the workers are all staring at me. They continued on(both the counter workers)to chat with one of their friends, ignoring me. Not ignoring my service animal, however,as finally the manager (who didnt care one bit that i was ignored for about 3 minutes standing there in line)barks at me 'no dogs allowed!'. I informed her that he is a/my service animal. She said 'a a, no dogs'. I told her it was a violation of the law to refuse service to me and my service animal based solely on him being a dog. She said 'no dogs' again. I told her She shoukd know the law and that I woukd gladly have the police inform her lf my ADA rights. She said 'go ahead, call the police if you want to' I said i didnt want to. She walked away to call someone. Another 5 minutes later (with now 3 cashiers just staring at me stupidly all this time)they asked what I wanted to order. I informed them that I was waiting to hear back from the manager who walked away. Another 2 minutes later they asked me for my order. I inquired if the manager "lady" figured out her job yet. They said 'yes'.. she didnt even bother to come out and say anything to me. The heck with that place. I then walked out and happily spend my cash somewhere else for lunch. What a joke of a "staff".. hope its not a race thing neither.. but seems to happen alot in Stores with incompetent managers such as these rude persons. Ugh. Never that location again.. added to my...
Read moreEXTREMELY unprofessional. 0 stars all around. Stopped at this location instead of the one in toula because it was closer to us going back home. Very very disappointed. Starting off.. we got to the drivethru window & she immediately started off with “i’ll be with you when i get a minute” already off to a bad start lmao, we then wait for almost 10 minutes just for her to take our order. We ordered a texas double whooper as well as a double cheeseburger, no tomatoes, no onions add ketchup add mustard, explained it very clearly & she said “maam, maam you’re gonna have to repeat that cus i didnt hear a thing you said” after she was asking us questions such as “what drink” “what size for the meal” Get to the window, pay, then have to pull up to wait for our order for another almost 15 minutes. Get out the parking lot only to realize they forgot our double cheeseburger & put tomatoes & onions on the texas double whopper & did not add mustard. Of course we turn around to get the cheeseburger and get the whopper fixed, wait ANOTHER 10 minutes for our sandwhich to be fixed and they bring out a new sandwhich…and to no ones surprise at all, it was STILL MESSED UP🙃. Still had tomatoes, onions, and there was no mustard. So if you’re wanting even DECENT service i highly suggest you not come to the burger king in hammond across...
Read moreThey weren't busy when we got there at 230 in the afternoon however, because they were so short staffed, it only took moments for them to get behind. The burger was at least consistent with other locations however the fries were pulled too soon and as a result undercooked. I'm taking into account the lack of staff while making this review. There were literally 4 people working on a historically high volume day which blows my mind. I'm also taking into account the treatment of the person at the front counter who was spoken to very harshly when it was unnecessary. Clearly unaware that cheese and bacon can literally be added to ANY item on the menu with a simple upcharge, the frazzled manager bit the counter person's head off and then nicely asked the drive thru runner to please add an item to a bag. That was unnecessary. She should have treated them the same. I used to work fast food for about 8 years, so trust me, I do know what it's like behind that counter and being rude to your staff makes them give up and work slower OR worse, it makes them walk out. The same manager ignored my request for a condiment however magically heard the person behind me. And provided their condiment. There are many things that need to be changed at...
