Taco Bell — Restaurant in Hammond

Ordered through the app as always this time used a different location. BIG MISTAKE. 🙄 I ordered 2 $5 cravings boxes which includes 1 beef supreme chalupa ,2 tacos, 1 cheesey gordita crunch, a fiesta potatoes and cinnamon twists plus 2 Baja Blasts one of which was supposed to be zero sugar. My fiance got to the restaurant to pick up our food. He said he was not spoken to at all by anyone except at the speaker. We live 5 minutes from this Taco Bell location which is why we choose it tonight instead of the usual one 12 minutes away. So within 5 maybe 6 minutes of my fiance leaving this location and arriving at our home all of our food was cold. The cinnamon twists were old as well as the cheesey fiesta potatoes you could literally taste that they both were old. Got no fork for the potatoes. Ordered sauce in our ONLINE ORDER too got not ONE single packet of sauce. I ordered one regular Baja Blast and one Zero Sugar Baja Blast for my TYPE ONE DIABETIC FIANCE Both drinks were regular Baja Blasts. So to sum things up again. Our tacos were cold and stale. Our cinnamon twists and cheesey fiesta potatoes were old ,cold and stale, we got no fork for the potatoes. We got zero sauce packets and our drinks weren't right. My recent experience today (8/24) at this establishment left much to be desired. Anticipating a quick lunch, I was met with disappointment as I found myself waiting for my meal for a staggering 20 minutes. It was evident that the location was grappling with being understaffed and poorly managed, a fact further underscored by their prioritization of drive-thru orders over in-store mobile pick-up, a choice that left me regretting my decision to order via the app.

To add to my frustration, the staff's focus seemed solely fixated on serving drive-thru patrons. While they acknowledged the delay and offered apologies, their actions contradicted their words. Rather than rectifying the situation, my wait was prolonged to accommodate more drive-thru orders. Remarkably, even after an approximate 22-minute wait, no further apologies were extended.

Horrible service, terrible food, served me the greasiest taco I've ever had.

Literally took them seventeen minutes to fill an order for French fries during the Saturday lunch rush. I felt ill shortly after I left. The meat was old and swimming in grease. I'd rather eat out of a dumpster.

The staff had an air of impatience that bordered on rudeness, the lobby was filthy, and the tables were crammed together, making it hard to sit. There wasn't any tea made during the lunch rush. It took them nearly twelve minutes to serve me (all the while we could hear the kitchen staff cutting up with each other), and the man in line before me showed me his receipt. He waited literally seventeen minutes to get three orders of French fries. We struck up a conversation about what an absolutely pathetic joke this store is.
