Peppino's Italian Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hampden Township

I had the misfortune of dealing with this merchant today via DoorDash. As a dasher, not only is it necessary to ensure food is packaged securely but it is also appreciated by the customers. Post waiting for the order to be completed, I was given unsealed food containers. A plastic bag was tied.. which was passable but the pizza boxes were not sealed. Typically, merchants use stickers of some sort to seal the order thus ensuring it was not tampered with during delivery. There's also a pandemic to be kept in consideration. I inquired with the staff person about their sealing policy to abide by policy. The response I received was a finger pointing to the door along with "go away." To emphasize my point/question, I indicated the use of a sealant of a sort-typically a merchant-designes sticker or a DoorDash sticker. I was told food does not get sealed and to leave the store. I understood I was no longer welcomed on the premises. I phoned the customer to inform that I will not be making the delivery. I was asked "how will I get my order?" I asked the merchant, who then helped himself to my phone without my permission and informed the customer that the store will deliver it to her. My phone was placed back on the counter with my jaw half dropped at the audacity of touching someone else's belonging without permission. I exited the store and informed DoorDash who had to cancel the order on their end. Twenty five minutes of my time that I will not get back. Unfruitful and unpleasant experience, to say the least. I will never return to that establishment as a delivery person or customer. I will be sure that my acquaintances know not to go there. I would make an effort to submit a complaint, but they're likely to be independently owned and managed, which means no improvement will take place. Good quality food or not, service...

Went in for pasta to go. I asked for extra sauce. They put on sausage. I said no I wanted extra sauce. The guy offered to take off sausage. I said no because I wanted my meal hot. Ended up costing like $17.00 for my dinner. This place used to be great. The portions were double what they are now and the prices were about $3.00 cheaper. The service was great. Not anymore. It is like it hurts them to be bothered to wait on the tables.

It is a shame. This was a great place but now it sucks. I will not go back again. If someone knows of a place with great vodka sauce...

My boyfriend and myself stopped in ordered a meatlovers stromboli and soda's. Our soda was more carb than flavor and when we got the stromboli it looked good I was excited for it. Then I started eating it. There was a weird taste couldn't put my finger on it. I took 3 bites and didn't eat anymore. Took the food with thinking we'd eat it later. No it was 20 minutes later if that and I was throwing up and stuck in a karns bathroom pooping my guts out. I wasn't sick until I ate. Once I stopped with my bodly functions I then cancelled the rest of my day...
