I will not be back! While eating I witnessed a woman with her brother and friend change her two year old daughter's diaper at the table while I was attempting to eat. My stomach turned sour after witnessing a diaper change while food sitting on the table. The lady placed the dirty diaper in the diaper bag; she did not wash or sanitized her hands and went on drinking her Margarita as if nothing was wrong with exposing a child's genital, of having human waste in area where people eat. Never mind there are others eating. Never mind that there is designated area called a bathroom for diaper changes and the elimination human waste. The manager came to my table and i informed him that I did not have a pleasant dining experience because of witnessing a diaper being changed a the dinner table. He kindly went over to the table where woman and her company sat and politely told them not do change diapers at the dinner table. The lady apologized directly to us, and I thought the incident was over, but nope she then asked me and my husband "what was the confrontation going to do?" Then her obnoxious brother got involved and said "Everybody just need to mind their business". The thing is, it is the business of Plaza Azteca's Manager to know that there is an exchange of human waste in place where food is eaten. I was unable to finish eating my food. My husband attempted to explain to the woman's brother and his was response was "That is a two-year-old baby. That's apple and oranges. Everybody needs to mind their business". She went on to explain that she used a Lysol wipe during the process of changing her child's diaper at the dinner table. She also went to ask if we would have been offended if she as breast feeding her child at the dinner table. Changing your child's diaper at the table versus breast feeding your child at dinner table; truly was not a valid comparison. The word I can say to thar incident is "unsanitary, contamination, confrontational, health code violation, public safety concern". Besides the incident, the menus were raggedy and worn. The actual place needs and update, no one was attentive enough to greet us as soon as we walked in the lobby. I asked for shrimp to be added to my salad and it was not. And of course, we were given...
Read moreGreat place and I would give a 5 if our server had checked on us or really just once towards our completion of dinner, bc we had to get the attention of another server just to get ours over to help us with a take home order and our payment. We ordered a 'Jumbo' Margarita, frozen w/salt, and it was extremely wonderful especially the perfect amount of alcohol for me, which was a lot, and my fiance, but he's not a regular drinker, therefore; please beware bc he was 'drunk' as he called it, after just the one 'very huge' but delicious drink. As for me, totally buzzed and feeling full of great food and alcohol, I couldn't be happier unless there were seating available for smokers, but of course, those times have come to pass. Oh well, the wait just made me enjoy my cigarette more once I got to the car. The dinner was so tasty and put together so well that my fiance didn't have to request anything extra bc it was all provided with the dinner plate from the cook himself...this says slot for anyone that knows an extreme, over the top, picky eater. My dish was a Steak Fajita, and they bring everything u need to make the wrap just the way u want, included with mine was, 3 flour tortillas, sour cream, rice, refried beans, cheese, and Queso via request. My fiance ordered the Texas Fajita, which added the shrimp, chicken, and maybe pork as well, all within one just like my steak fajita bc it also had steak w/ red, green & yellow peppers & onions. He was speechless from eating this amazing food. I 100% Recommend this Restaurant for a Great 👍 Dinner. It's a perfect restaurant for Couples at the later times, usually after 8pm, so u can avoid families with small children if ur looking to hear each other and the background music. Don't get me wrong, it's a spacious place too, & also great for families of all sizes w/ or w/o...
Read moreI came here craving Mexican food. I am from the Southwest, so I grew up on Mexican food and apparently this was the best in the area for Mexican. Maybe I'm just picky but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. So, experience and service was great. There is a cool atmosphere and they have the decor really cool, very Aztc vibe it's really awesome. If you want to know my opinions on the food please continue reading.
I wanted a little of everything, I needed my fix of Mexican so I got the build your own plate thing. *Salsa they bring to the table, needed more flavor. It wasnt spicy, but it tasted like it was just tomato's and some cilantro. 1☆ *Empanadas, they were great. I wish this was my main meal. Definitely order these. 5☆ *Guacamole, really great as well. They arent afraid to use the salt, but that is what I do like about guacamole. 5☆ *Rolled chicken enchilada, I was looking in the menu to see what the sauce was on it and I think it was tomato sauce, but could be wrong. I was hoping for red Chile personally. But they were dry and just didnt have a good taste. Kudos on the amount of cheese stuffed inside. I dont get why places think rolled enchiladas are good. They are better stacked. 2☆ *Chimichanga beef fried, to much batter and the meat inside was really dry and didnt have a lot of flavor. 2☆ *Chile Relleno, I was so excited seeing this and heart broken when I took a bite. I was thinking it was a Green Chile, actual chile but it turned out to be a Poblano Pepper. The amount of cheese was spot on and the batter was okay, but no, the Poblano Pepper was distasteful. 1☆ *Refried beans, they were good. I liked that they put cheese on top. 5☆ *Spanish Rice, now spanish rice can be hard and I think they did a great...
