Where to start... we came in to celebrate a relatives birthday. My son had the popcorn shrimp and broccoli. Everything was fine until he felt some poking his cheek, it happened two more times before we really looked at what was happening (I know I should have stopped and look the first time😬) . My husband looked through the broccoli and it had thin fish bones all throughout it. I spoke with the manager and she told me that "they don't even carry fish with bones in it", almost as if she was implying we "planted the bones" why someone would do that for an $8 kids meal is beyond me but I digress. Eventually she went to check the rest of the broccoli and offered us a new side for my sons kids meal, after she was done checking (I have no idea if she found more or not). They did refund my son's meal at the end though. That was the worst part, but the entire dining experience was bad to be honest. I ordered the lobster tail, when it came out it looked terrible. I asked why it has no seasoning (i meant it had none at all) they told me "we don't season the lobster because we don't want people to get sick" which is a super weird response especially considering all the pictures of their lobster tails have seasoning on them, that everything else (scampi for instance was seasoned) was seasoned, and that the last time I ordered lobster there, it was definitely seasoned (but I'll admit it's probably been a couple years). Aside from not having any seasoning on it, it was completely over cooked it was like chewing on uninflated balloons. They didn't offer to season it or make it over, they just offered a side of butter and a little cup of old bay, oh and I asked for the scampi suace thinking that might help it but what they gave me was more tasteless butter with what looked like maybe parsley in it. Other than those issues... the server didn't come back to refill drinks periodically or offer more bread after the initial portion. We were a pretty small party 5 adults and 3 kids and while the restaurant wasn't dead, it definitely wasn't at max capacity. When we ended our meal, my sister in law asked for some bread to go, our server never brought any more bread throughout the dinner, and I thought maybe since my sister in law requested it, she'd bring some for the whole table (realizing she hadn't brought any more and correcting her mistake) but nope she brought 2 biscuits for her and that was it. By that point we were fed up... Believe it or not I'm not a difficult patron, and I usually tip well, but not this time. The drinks were good, but other than that, I don't think ill be returning to this particular red lobster...
Read moreOn the night of 4.22.2018 me and family had a terrible dinner in this restaurant. It took 15 mins for the waitress to get our drinks. When we was finally able to speak with our waitress because she didnt introduced herself with her name and the other waitress were "busy" with their own tables. Mind you we came at 830 restaurant closes at 10. So there wasnt hardly anyone in the restaurant. We ask our waitress for the famous n delicious cheddar biscuit we were told "they ran out of biscuit" and then she ran off n disappear for another 15 min. That confused us since nothing on the menu was "ran out" so we question the waitress she rudely interpreted me speakin n say "well since we are closing there isnt anymore biscuits" that the rude incident number one the next rude incident me and my family encountered was the very same night we are leaving we tip the waitress very well and i notice i had left my phone on the table. We literally walk out of the restaurant not even 5 mins and we were knocking on the door to get my phone. I saw two host standing where they all greeted us with smile when we first came in but i guess since it was "10 o clock time to go home lets all run outta here to go home" we were look with frowns and disgust they both look at us one took a sip of her bottle drink and walk away as if we didnt make eye contact nor as if she didnt see us knockin on the door we stood there for 10 min knockin and actual looking and makin contact with 4 waitresses all of whom said "they were closed" we knew that..duh. Smh... So finally the manager shows up at the door and says sorry guys but we are closed Excuse me ma'am but my phome is left on the table she ask me which table it was n i told and she proceed to get my phone but she come back to the door and say show me what table we was sitting at so i go to show inside and she put her hand up and say show me from outside... I had to walk around half of the whole bulding from outside to show her my phone. How rude could this restaurant can get? I saw on her name badge that her name was Jennifer. I highly dont recommend this location to anyone. I personally wont be coming back to this...
Read moreWent there with my family on March 6th 2023 for my birthday and spent quite a bit of money. The server was absolutely wonderful but the food was not up to par whatsoever. I ordered a steak medium rare but if he could let the cook know more on the rare side please. Which the sever did just that informed the cook and the cook acknowledged him. Also ordered garlic shrimp scampi which shrimp was rubbery over overcooked but I didn't say anything about it. But when I cut into my steak it was well done, no pink all grey. So I asked for another steak to go rare and I did receive it but it was a different cut of steak way smaller than the last one and definitely was less than the 7oz that I ordered but I just took it to go. Then ordered dessert to go and they forgot the raspberry sauce for the vanilla cheesecake and it was the smallest slice I've ever seen unfortunately way smaller than if I were have paid for a normal slice.I thought it was a birthday gift cheesecake but turned out not so great. Then again I just let it go to late to complain about it. My daughter ordered a lobster tail which it was completely rubber and overcooked but she was to kind and shy to speak up about it especially on her mother's birthday celebration dinner. They also didn't give her her sundae which came with her kids meal. Finally my husband ordered some ultimate platter with two different lobster tails, scallops, coconut shrimp and all of it was overcooked again he didn't want to ruin my birthday celebration so he let it go. So unfortunately my birthday dinner was a complete disappointment and definitely made me feel like I didn't matter. The server was amazing he did everything he could but unfortunately the food lacked all the way, the cook or chef was horrible, dessert for my birthday was ruined by no sauce slice so small, and the price we paid for everything was definitely not worth it at all. I think next time for seafood we will definitely go somewhere else. Overall it ended up being fum because I was with my family and the server...
