I purchased a patio set online, and it shipped from Hampton. When the patio sofa arrived, I learned that At Home, decided to send me the floor display. The leg was not attached, the screw was stripped, it has dings, gashes, and misisng a rubber foot. I am not sure who put it together, but they did not care about the quality of their work or if they were causing damage to the merchandise someone else would be receiving. I called the store, and basically, I was informed that it was my fault because they called to tell me they were sending the floor model, but I didn't return their call. I expressed my issue with that when I called the store to speak with a manager who told me people come in daily and ask to purchase the floor model. I didnt come to the store or go online and choose to buy the floor display. If they didnt have the new one I purchased they should have canceled my order like they did for the coffee table that i also purchased the same day and then they canceled that order. I am not okay with them deciding for me that a damaged one off the floor is fine. I purchased a BRAND NEW patio sofa online, which was MY CHOICE. Read moreLove the store. But I had a bad run in with an employee. Our 5 month old leaked all over his clothes and he smelled horrible. We go to the Family restroom because there are no changing stations in the bathrooms. There is a cleaning placard in front and the door is locked so we knock thinking it is being cleaned. We hear nothing so I knock again. I'm about to go find someone to see if it is broken but my husband decides to try one more time because the baby smells so bad. He knocks really hard and jiggles the knob. Finally we hear someone say they are in there. The young employee with red braids comes out with an attitude and says if it's locked someone is in there obviously. I pointed out the cleaning sign in front and said we weren't sure so we kept checking. Especially when nobody answered us. She replied with more attitude as she walked away. She couldn't talk to us face to face or apologize for using the Family restroom with the only baby changer. She should have used the regular restroom 2 feet away. Read moreReason the store is getting a 2 star review is because Im not sure if the initial staff were out due to Mother's day, so some of the worst staff were left to handle the cash register but a young man, white guy had a name tag but no name treated my mother and me soooo rudely. He rang up our items, for some reason we had to let him know we wanted our items to be bagged. He bagged some of the items then left a small lamp and a metal garden decor sitting on the counter. Then i had to request he wrap up the lamp it and bag it. He moved slowly and the brunette at the next cash register could tell he was acting poorly to us and asked if he needed assitance he rejected the offer, half way wrapped my lamp and put it in a bag. If me and my mother wasn't already enjoying our day and had dinner reservations I would have stayed to report this poor behavior to the manager. My receipt has no name of the cashier but the transaction happened at 17:25. I hope the nice and mature ladies that were the first few days of the opening of the store is still there.
