I can't put in to words just how happy I was with the service and the "over and above" treatment I received from the kind people at Goodman & Sons Jewelers. I'm not sure if it's the case for all men shopping for an engagement ring, but for me it was quite exhausting as well as frustrating but thankfully I stopped in to their store one day. I was greeted by Shayna Andrews, explained what it was I was looking for and that's when she went to work for me! My intention was to find something as unique and beautiful as my fiancé and Shayna took the time to understand what I was in search of and we ended up on an outstanding & very unique ring.

When it came time for me to pick it up, Mr. Goodman took the time to introduce himself and thank me for my patronage -- something I thought was a thing of old in retail but a testament that they/Goodman Jewelers really value their clients.

As I told Mr. Goodman, he/they should be most proud of employees like Shayna as it was her "hands on and sincere efforts" that helped me find what I was looking for. No pressure, no talk of price and no rush to close the transaction just the contrary -- She fielded/addressed every question or request I had never once pushing to move to the next customer. I'm sure all employed there are of the same caliber but if you happen in, please ask for Shayna Andrews as she's definitely about the customer getting what they "want" and truly goes over and above to make sure you are happy -- THANKS AGAIN...

My fiancé and I were new to the Hampton Roads area and were looking for a jeweler to make our wedding bands. We received a referral to go talk to Shayna at Goodman & Sons. Previously, we had an amazing diamond consultant in the DC area who helped us pick out my engagement ring, so we weren’t sure what to expect here. Shayna, our new consultant at Goodman & Sons, was absolutely exceptional!! She was hands-down the best jewelry consultant we’ve ever worked with! She was patient and made sure that she researched all of my requests. I went back several times to see samples of bands she had requested from all over the country just for me. I wanted a baguette style wedding ring to match my engagement ring and not only did she contact the maker of my engagement ring but she also had them customize a perfect wedding ring with the exact size baguettes of my engagement ring! The rings look like they were made together on the same day.

Shayna is an amazing person who genuinely loves what she does!! My ring is perfect and my fiancé loves his band as well! He wasn’t sure what he wanted or how it would go with mine ring. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Goodman and Sons to pick up my watch that was having its battery replaced, and I was delighted to be assisted by Lee Fahringer. What was initially intended to be a quick pickup turned into a lovely encounter that exceeded my expectations.

I had brought in some jewelry pieces that were gifted to me, and I had questions about how to style and care for them. Lee was more than happy to spend time with me, answering all of my questions and offering valuable insights. He helped me decide what to do with the pieces and even cleaned them for me, which transformed them into sparkling new treasures.

What impressed me most was Lee’s genuine interest in helping me find the perfect solution for my jewelry. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and at no point did I feel pressured or rushed. He even informed me about an upcoming event, but never once did he try to push me into making a purchase.

As a result of our conversation, I’m thrilled to say that I’ll be resetting a ring to commemorate my children’s birthstones and creating a brand new necklace to honor my grandmother. I’m grateful to have found a jeweler who is willing to work with me on my timetable and within my budget. I’m confident that our partnership will be a long-term one, and I look forward to many more enjoyable experiences at Goodman and Sons.
