Ok, starting out this is a Muslim owned halal business. I am a Muslim woman and try to spend my money at halal restaurants for the most part, however the last couple of times I came here I received bad customer service and also felt like I was looked at as though I was a weirdo or something. The front cashier didn’t even bother to say thank you after taking my order, I feel I said thank you more than she did and I'm the customer. Anyway, on to the food. My family and I started coming here when they first opened up, one of the brothers were handing out flyers at the masjid for this restaurant. We tried it and the food as well as customer service was great! The food actually tasted authentic back then, which was probably 2018 or 2019. Fast forward to 2022, again the customer service is not good and the food is dry and taste very inauthentic. I believe because of the location of this restaurant they feel they can get away with their Quality of Mediterranean food not being up to par because there isn’t many mediterranean restaurants in that area, if they were out north Atlanta in areas like Marietta, Alpharetta, or Roswell they would definitely have to step it up because the mediterranean restaurants and Indo-Pak restaurants out there are superb! Guys, if anyone is looking for an authentic mediterranean Middle Eastern restaurant in the Atlanta area please try those area I mentioned or my fav mediterranean restaurant in Atlanta “Jerusalem Bakery”! You will definitely get your money’s worth and customer service...
Read moreIt’s really disappointing. I really want this area to have a good middle eastern restaurant. Especially something simple and great like kabobs for take out.
I don’t like leaving anything less than 5 stars for small restaurants unless it’s truly terrible. And it’s not. It’s just really, REALLY bland.
I cook a lot of middle eastern food. I eat a lot of middle eastern food. I know the cuisine. This is not that. It’s soulless and lifeless. There’s no flavor. Barely any spices. You should be able to smell it from a mile away.
I hope the owners see this and fix up the recipes. The core ingredients and ideas are there but it’s executed poorly. I’ve tried eating here three times and experience was always the same: under-seasoned and bland.
If you want to try some middle eastern food with flavor try Taaj Kabob & Grill in Sandy springs or Jerusalem Bakery & Grill in Marietta. Or even Mamoun's in midtown. The prices really aren’t...
Read moreThe owners/management are extremely rude and unhelpful to their customers. I have been a returned customers for a few days now and unfortunately lost a very important item in their restroom. After contacting the restaurant they refused to assist in any way. They didn’t ask for my name, would not take my number to contact me, they didn’t offer to check their cameras, or to talk to their employees. Before leaving the restaurant I tipped the Muslim women (the owners wife) out of the spirit of Ramadan as a fellow Muslim and this is the treatment I received. The owner screamed at me telling me they would not help me and in a very condescending way said I could go to the police. I am very disappointed and offended by this treatment. I believe I received this treatment because I am a young black woman while most of their clientele are white business people. I am leaving this review in hopes that this business can be seen...
