BEWARE! The drinks we received were not up to the standard that they normally are when we come. We asked if they could remake it or allow us to get a different drink. They said that they don't do refunds on food or drinks and pointed out that it was noted on the menu. Of course we did not see this, but we weren't asking for the money. The manager on duty, Brandon, advised that they also don't do exchanges. He finally offered us half off, mind you we did not take more than a sip of the drink, and they had already thrown the drink away. They wanted us to pay half for a drink that we didn't even drink or have anymore! After going back and forth about customer service he finally remade the drink at our request at no additional charge. The issue is the customer service, whether it is on the menu or not the owner should want to satisfy their customers. I've brought huge groups of co workers several times and we have left paying a tab over $1K. You would think they would empower their employees to use discretion so that they could keep a long time paying customer rather than losing 3 over 2 $12 drinks. What got me was the fact that he kept repeating the policy that was on the menu as if that was supposed to mean something. Whether or not it was there, they still served a bad drink and did not want to willingly make it right. So if you go here KNOW that if you order food or drinks and they make it right in their eyes if you don't like it you still have to pay with no offer to fix it. I'm so glad it was the drink and not my food. They will not get another chance to fail me and still expect to get paid. I'm sure they will respond with an excuse as that was all Brandon had to offer us tonight. Go to Thai Haven 2 blocks away where they value every customer and will not let you leave dissatisfied. They are a mom and pop just like this place. Brandon said that this is a mom and pop and this is why they have this policy....a policy that says they are always right and the...

I went there on a Thursday night at 5:45 and had to park a quarter mile down the street which is no big deal but just a warning. I thought I got there before the dinner rush but there were no parking spots available on either side of their lot. Also, my friend and I got the very last table available for two people which again was surprising given how early it was in the evening on a Thursday.

The service was okay, but the food was mediocre. I actually had a friend from work refer me to this place when I asked for a recommendation near the airport. She me that the food was really good, so maybe I had a one off experience? I ordered the chicken curry - the taste was fine but my food was not hot (my friend’s food was hot). In my dish, there was not a lot of Curry broth, which I was disappointed about (I’ve never gotten curry that wasn’t soupy). It was mostly chicken and veggies, and then rice came on the side. The dish itself was $20 which wasn’t super expensive, but I now know better than to go back there to get Thai food when I can get authentic Thai food that’s hot and delicious for a few dollars cheaper.

I will say that they are not very many great Dining options in College Park and while I sat inside, it looks like a pretty cool environment outside with cornhole boards and...

Very nice atmosphere, new, bar restaurant. Got the pad thai with chicken, it was decent--not bad, not great, served with a lemon instead of a lime but had sprouts and peanuts. Seemed a bit inauthentic from menu though, Menu was very limited. No beef or pork--just chicken, shrimp, or fish. Only 3 noodle dishes, and just a few stir fry. Their main entree, Basil "stir fry", didn't use any Holy basil or Thai basil. No prik nam pla or standard condiments, but bartender was able to get me some fish sauce and chili/garlic paste.

Good bartender, she went the extra mile to help me find a beer I liked.

Final note, something I hate to see--they automatically added a 20% tip on the bill for single diner, called it a "service charge", and told me their system couldn't remove it. Bartender DID tell me so I didn't tip twice, but it is a terrible policy to force a 20% tip without recourse. Would be worse if bad service, but the service was good and worth a 20% tip, just wish they left choice with customer where it should be.

Overall I would eat here again, missing my favorite Thai items but still enough choices to find something. $32 for 1 beer and Pad Thai is a bit...

The atmosphere is lively but the tables are a bit close inside. The restaurant itself is nice but I wouldn’t return based on the food I was served. I ordered the coconut shrimp and they came out so dark and greasy (literally grease on the plate) when I asked the server if this is how they were usually served she seemed confused but said yes maybe it’s that they weren’t drained well. She took them back but said they weren’t going removed from the check(cool that’s their policy*) but the table next to me then ordered the same appetizer and they were completely different, a different color even. Like I was served old ones so in that case I did feel like I was cheated. I then got the traditional fried rice with chicken. The flavor wasn’t bad but the chicken was unappetizing as it was huge like somebody just lazily chopped it. Not much care seemed to go into the food I got that today. The passion fruit lemon drop tasted all lemon no Passion fruit. Server was nice and pleasant overall and the live music is cool.

I have a new spot whenever I’m craving fried rice thanks to this place! I ordered my food to go $38+ worth—took almost an hour in total before my food was ready (they were busy but 1hour is insane) mind you I called my order in in advance before arriving. I ordered the veggie fried rice (mild) the spring rolls appetizer and the Thai chicken wings. My fried rice was great(next time I’ll request extra egg) my spring rolls were slightly soggy due to the kitchen not draining the excess grease off before boxing them and my Thai chicken wings were okay—I requested extra crispy but didn’t receive my request —the wings were slightly cold compared to my other food and they didn’t have enough Thai seasoning like I was expecting. I also noticed if you order to go versus dining in the portions are different but the price doesn’t change. The parking is very slim especially if they are busy but overall I’ll definitely be back for more fried rice in the future

When I'm in Atlanta, Paper Plane is my go to place for an amazing Thai meal in a nice setting with really friendly servers. I've had their Old Fashion, which is pretty good, but last time I was there I ordered a Whiskey Sour that was really delish, surprisingly so much that it's on my list to order again next time I visit this place. I love the freshness of their chicken satay. They don't give you a huge amount of food, but what they do give you is of really high quality and tastes amazing. The coconut shrimp soup was delivered piping hot and loaded with flavor. I really wish the cup was bigger, only because it's so good. My main dish was Pad ZU with chicken. I get this every time I visit. The wide, delicious noodles carry the flavor so well of this dish. I just wish they had a beef option for the protein. Tu (I hope I spelled that correctly) was so nice and made a great meal memorable. Paper Plane earned 5 stars. I'll be back.
