I placed a pickup order at 5:15 pm for your location in Cadillac, MI on 10-10-2024. I set it for 6 pm, and when I arrived I was told by a man behind the counter that my food was being packaged. after 10 minutes I asked about how it was going and was repeatedly ignored. At 5:15 someone finally came to the counter and told me it would be 16 more minutes until my food was ready. I was told there were people in line ahead of me, even though I ordered my food 60 minutes prior. I asked to speak to a store manager for a refund, I was ordering for a large family and didnt have more time to wait. I was told I was fetting no refund to my card and would just have to wait for my food or take it up with UberEats or Grubhub, even though I ordered directly through KFCs website. I explained I just wanted a reciept of some kind to show the order was canceled, but was refused. I asked to see the store manager and a lady immediately walked up and said she is the manager and I'm not getting anything but my food. I said then I wanted the district managers number so I could leave them a message. The lady walked to the back and sent a man to the counter covered in food and flour, who then claimed he was actually the manager. I asked if he was the district manager and he said he was the assistant. I worked with this man ad FedEx last year and knew he was lying to me. He stated he would take my number for his boss, but that I could either wait for my food or leave. I chose to leave and never took my food. I was then called at 6:40 by the same man from the counter stating my food was done and I could come get it, after I had already plainly refused it and demanded a refund instead. He then alleged over the phone that I was hostile in the store, which I was not, I even conversated with other customers waiting an extended period. This store has been beyond the worst KFC and food establishment in general I have ever been to from Denver to Charlotte. Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: was looking forward to KFC fries all day. Order, pay, start heading out of town and reach for a fry and they are plain fries, no seasoning, no salt, nothing. I taste one and it literally tastes like grease! Drove back to return and get told they had to get fries from a different restaurant. That would've been nice to know when ordering! Not to mention one of them was only half full. Ridiculous. The best part: it's going to take 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET OUR MONEY BACK. Every single time here it's some kind of quality issue... Last week I got a Pepsi that was absolutely disgusting and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry we just filled the water softener so they taste weird". Tonight I order 2 root beers and my child keeps asking me if it's ok if he drinks his Pepsi because he knows he's not supposed to have Pepsi. I keep telling him it's ok, it's root beer! Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst fast food experience I may have ever had. We used the mobile app to order in advance to make for a quick stop. Our order was placed for a group of 6 at 5:05 for 5:30. We arrived at 5:31 and patiently waited for 15 minutes. While waiting, several customers were visible frustrated as they had been waiting 45+ minutes for KFC. At around 5:45 our order was marked completed. When I nicely asked the manager at 5:50 where to find our food they said there were still 9 orders being prepared before ours. The orders of people waiting weren't crazy.
I nicely asked for a refund as we needed to get back on the road and was told we could not cancel our order or get a refund as we placed it in the App.
I proceeded to attempt to work with an agent in that App and they were not able to give me a refund.
At this point this has been a complete waste of my time and I hope to prevent anyone from the same experience. If I get the refund for the food great, $67. I will have a very hard time choosing KFC moving forward.
