ABC Warehouse — Local services in Haring Township

I purchased an $700 television from here 4 months ago. We planned on buying one for no more than $400, but the sales lady showed us one and pushed and pushed. So we got it. She also convinced us to purchase a warranty protection plan. In her words “you have two young kids, accidents happen. It may get broken or something may spill on it. It’s nice to have that reassurance.” So we got it. Because that cushion is nice. Well my TWO year old son was trying to “fix” it and tapped it with a hammer. Absolutely no damage at all to the screen, just a large black area in the picture. Guess what isn’t covered by warranty? The exact thing she said would be. According to the warranty repair “nothing physically damaging is covered”. So I went to the store to see if there was anything they could do. They were able to refund the warranty price ($100 of the $800 spent). That was extremely nice, however I told the manager that their employees are telling lies to make bigger sales. I told him what his sales person told us to convince us to a) buy a much larger tv than intended and b) to purchase a warranty plan that doesn’t cover what she said it would. I started going to this store in 2014, my wife and I bought our first television there. The salesman treated us well and did what I felt was what he could do to get us that tv. Today, after being in the store several times looking at carpet cleaners and talking to several different salesmen and saleswomen, I bought one. I got the answers I needed and the experience was great! There is a team atmosphere here like few others I have seen in sales, today the first salesperson I talked to, Mr Mike, could not answer my questions but did not try to fill me with B'S, he went and told a manager, Miss Alicia I needed help. Miss Alicia was a hoot! I have never been dissapointed after a visit here; the salespeople want the customers to be happy, any item I have looked at has never been "over sold", prices are pretty average considering warranties and such.
