T.J. Maxx — Local services in Haring Township

I went in looking for a winter coat for my son in April. His ripped in school. I went to four other places searching for a coat.. five including this store... At four places each clerk was beyond helpful and friendly. They were out of stock...but they still took me to the location and helped look with their best guess of where they would be if they still had some... I go to TJ Maxx it's slow I am the only person in the store. No one greets me... I go to the boys section look around don't notice anything but figured I'd double check just in case. So I ask this employee who was fumbling around in the women's section with hangers. He looked at me with pure annoyance. Told me they did not have any. I personally left feeling like I ruined his entire day with my simple question. He didn't help me look, he had an annoyed stare and just said there wasn't any. We went into the store looking for a fancy dress for a younger girl to wear to a dance, we found one super cute dress and price was amazing! However it wasn't working and unfortunately we had to return it, during the return process the associate was super helpful, very friendly and in general just a person who seemed to have a positive vibe about her. TJ Maxx did have some super cute clothing items for babies and younger girls once the sizes started going up like above a 7/8 the options were limited for clothing choices. They do have super cute spring outfits out. And the wall of hair accessories I never realized was so full and had tons of cute clips, headbands and over sized scrunchies. Upon returning home from shopping, I realized that I did not have my receipt from my TJ Maxx purchases that afternoon. I called and was directed to Kari in supervision. She took the information from my purchase and my phone number, and stated that she would call back with information. I received a call back within the hour, and she stated that she was able to recreate the receipt, and had a copy waiting for me at the front counter. Inasmuch as this is probably their busiest time of the year by far, I consider this customer service experience to be excellent, and they will certainly continue to have my patronage in the future.
