Meijer — Local services in Haring Township

They have several amazing staff at this location. The store is always quite clean, shelves stocked and decent prices. My problem is with the deli or a specific deli worker. I had a few items to get from the deli and some people appreciate the grab and go. I am not one of those people. If the deli is closed I will not buy from the grab and go. I have waited in line patently several times for my number to be called. I asked for my meat to be sliced at .5 and thanked her. She hands me my bag without a word and goes to walk off. I said excuse me miss I need a couple more items only to be looked at as if though my request was a burden. I asked for cheese and I wanted the cheese sliced at a.5. She grabs 2 bags and says here this equals a pound. Another employee must have noticed her behavior because she came over and asked if there was something she could help with. I then told her that I asked for a pound of Fredrick cheese sliced at a .5 and that I was handed these two bags. She said oh let me get this fixed she then tells the other deli worker to put the cheese in one bag that my coupon wont work with grab and go not the initial worker whom was attending to my purchase. Moral of the story IF WE ARE STANDING IN LINE TO GET DELI WE DO NOT WANT THE GRAB AND GO. WE WANT IT CUT A PARTICULAR WAY AND FRESH. This in my 3rd time having issues with the deli staff trying to make me purchase grab and go rather than cut and weigh my meat and cheese...

Meijer in Cadillac has gone downhill fast in the last 6 months or more. It used to have the freshest produce and now it's the worse in the City. When I buy bread, it molds in about 4-5 days. When I buy the same brand at Walmart, it doesn't mold for weeks, which is how long Meijer used to last. It wasn't just a bad week because this has happened with the last 3 times I've bought bread there. Prices are much higher than Walmart and Family Fare and they climb weekly, if not every couple days while the quality and choices are below the other stores. Maybe it's time for an upper management change? I used to only shop there but now I only get something that might not be at one of the other stores. It's not just me because everyone I've talked to are spending more time shopping at the other stores, as well. Meijer Corporate offices might want to check out what's going on here. Send out some surveys if you think a few google reviews don't tell the whole story. The customer dissatisfaction is wide spread and not just with google reviewers. Maybe instead of raising costs and lowering quality to improve your bottom line you should consider some changes to upper management from ground level all the way up to the top. I know I will not be back until I see an ad or get a mailing apologizing and admitting to a slippage and promising that changes have been made. I won't risk spending any more money there just to find out it's just as bad as it was...

Had a horrible experience while Black Friday shopping this morning I got all my stuff and they had items that were placed right under signs and I went to check out but the items rang up wrong so I asked and the cashier named Luciana she rolled her eyes and called out for a price check so they bring me the signs and say yes it is deceiving but those items are not included but while waiting for the price check I asked her to remove the items so I could keep track of what i was spending because I was not going to purchase those items if they weren’t part of the sale so she ignored me until I asked her again a little ruder so then she removes them and we get to the coat I was getting for my boyfriend it said it was on sale for 29.99 and she said I can’t change the price so I said well you can get a price check so she rolled her eyes again and acted like I was just the worst person for asking and they said the brown coats that are exactly the same as the black ones were not on sale for that price the brown ones were 79.99 I though that was a huge price difference for a color but as she was giving me my change she rolled her eyes again and told me to have a great day so I told her she could lose...
