My wife and I were really talking about eating some good food this past Sunday (6-9-24), and chose Razzoo's for dinner. So when we get there, absolutely NO ONE is in the front to greet, and we actually stood there for a bit until someone showed up. Then a young lady shows up, and she takes us to get seated. So once we're seated, the next thing is to be greeted by the waiter/waitress. We were seated at about 7:40pm. During that time, we watched as countless staff walked by our table, some stopped at the bar & sat at the bar on their phones, stopping and talking to other staff, but NO ONE came to our table. Finally, at 8pm, my wife walked over to the bar where two ladies were assisting patrons and asked could we get service. One of the ladies quickly came over to the table and took our drink orders. Soon after, she brought the drinks, and took our food orders. We both ordered shrimp & catfish baskets, both sides of red beans and rice, green beans for her, and corn on the cob for me. So then we sat and waited for our food. And waited. And waited. My wife got up and used the restroom. No food. I got up and used the restroom. When I was done using the restroom, the food finally showed up. So we starting digging in, and abruptly stopped. I ate the corn on the cob. It wasn't hot, but eatable. When I bit into the red beans and rice, completely COLD. I also bit into a shrimp. Completely COLD. All of my wife's food was completely COLD. After waiting to be seated, waiting for someone to acknowledge us at a table, and the long wait for our food, we were completely done. I went over to the bar, and asked for the manager to come to our table. She asked us what was wrong, and we told her everything was cold, which she verfied. We also sat and waited for the manager as well! After the manager did not promptly show, we were outdone, and left the restaurant. We have been to this Razzoo's before, and enjoyed great food and great service! However, Sunday was not the day apparently to visit this restaurant. While I was using the restroom, there was even a member of staff, SITTING on the sink where you wash your hands, on his phone! In my humble opinion, there was a lot of disorganization overall in the restaurant, and many staff were just there at work. The biggest thing is-they weren't busy! The order was simple: stuffed shrimp. The lady on the phone wasnât welcoming but did guarantee me 10 minutes. I waited for my husband to arrive home from a 10 minute commute and we went to get the order. I waited in the car but about 20 minutes later I called. STILL WAITING ON MY ORDER, he said. I finally go inside ten minutes later to find out the bartender sent him to sit at the host stand where a âto go serverâ would be right with him. One young lady engaged with him and NEVER CAME BACK. Together we approached the bar, now 9:30 where the short very blonde girl was MORE THAN RUDE. âI JUST GOT THE ORDER SOâ I asked her if it would be fresh seeing that I placed it almost an hour ago. She said YEAH IT SHOULD BE. I went back to the car. He said heâll take it up with Nika the next time he sees her, the blonde bartenders manager. Rewind to an experience six months ago where I had to leave a sour review â we come here regularly, and know management pretty well as they frequent our own resteraunt often, her & her husband. She must have been off last night. Razooâs closes at 12 midnight. At 11:09, after a 12 hour work day, we stopped in for dinner and drinks. The host asked if we preferred a table or a booth. Trying not to be a hassle we asked to sit at the bar. After ordering our first round of cocktails we were ready to eat. It is now 11:23. We ask the bartender to ring in our usual, the amazing crawfish fondue. She replies THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED. I said excuse me ? Looking at my clock. She says YEAH WE CLOSE IN LIKE 15-20 MINUTES BUT YALL CAN KEEP DRINKING. I see Belle, our usual server still serving tables. I see Alexis another usual of ours still serving tables. So I ask the bartender SO IF I SAT A TABLE INSTEAD OF THE BAR TOP YOU WOULD STILL TELL ME THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED. My boyfriend, the manager of a resteraunt down the street, asked me to calm down. I have ate at this restaurant multiple times. I have had excellent service and have had poor service. I review when I have outstanding service, therefore I need to write a review when I have terrible service. Yesterday, when I walked into the restaurant around 3pm, it wasnât crowded at all. I was seated in the back area. My order was taken and then the waitress went to the table behind me and took their order. She was not attentive at all. Every time, I tried to get her attention, she would be gone in a hurry. The table behind me received their order, therefore the manager walked by and I asked her about my order and she asked the waitress and she told her that it was coming. I waited over 40 mins and that has never we happened at that location even when it was super busy. I was over it and had gotten up to head out and saw the manager with part of my order, which was my wings, not sure where the crawfish was because the table behind me received their crawfish too. The manager saw me and asked if I wanted my food. I told her no because of no communication, and the long wait. She told me as I can see there is other people in the restaurant and their is ticket times. I told her I realize that but the table behind me received their food and my order was taken before theirs and she told me no they was not⌠um yes they did. If she wasnât so busy asking her employee to go to cookie crumble, she would have known what was going on. Then she went on to tell me it takes wings awhile to cook because they are thick⌠not 40 min but okay. Anyway I told her that , the waitress was not attentive and she could have at least communicated with me what was going on, and she said that she would talk to her about it. I have had great experiences and terrible ones at this location, but this one takes the cake. I guess it was my fault because after 20 minutes, I should have asked for my food.
