We had previously reviewed Marciano's which had the best pizza in the Rockford area and received five stars. Recently, we had two orders delivered that were very upsetting. The first was the usually fantastic pizza. It was the same pizza as previously ordered, but the quality and taste were not the same. It was, in my opinion, not enjoyable and I believe was not even made correctly. The second order was for pasta and sandwiches. The sandwich was not made as ordered and items placed with the order were missing. After two failed orders I called to report the problems and was offered a credit, which I declined as I felt it would only make my call complain look like someone looking for free food and not register the problem and hopefully fix whatever problem exists. The lady I spoke to said she would discuss my concerns with the manager and I can only hope it was received and taken seriously as I now hesitate to order from Maciano's Previously the owner seemed to be very involved in the daily operation and everything was great. I question if ownership or management has changed and the reason for the mistakes and/or the poor quality food. Please bring back the great food.

In the interest of appearing to answer my review I received the following canned speech answer. This is very disturbing. If the owner had a real concern he had our orders, and phone number from all of the previous orders. Apparently they only wanted to appear to answer by suggesting a e-mail to them and can't be bothered and interested in correcting the problem. Looks like time to find a new restaurant with...

So we ordered the 18-in big deal and the pizza for some reason seemed completely different than usual.... it was dried out it tastes a little well done... it had hardly any cheese... all I could taste was bacon, so it was so salty ,and they messed up on my pop... after I specifically said, please do not bring me a regular... I want diet!!!! I even had Laura the manager ,read it back to me, to make sure that I would get the correct pop..... Well she tried to make it better ,by sending me another pizza..... and this time there was no sauce on it ...and it tasted tasteless...... like it wasn't cooked all the way. I could definitely tell it had more cheese. Instead of bringing me the wrong Pop... He completely forgot to bring any pop at all😳 so once again, two and a half hours later...... I still did not have any diet Pepsi to enjoy with my pizza😒 at this point, I didn't even want the pizza anymore!!!! I even left a message saying, just credit my account!!! I just want my money back on my credit card ....but to no avail😡 nobody ever contacted me😤. The driver did turn around, and come right back ,about a half an hour later, I got my pops.....🤔 but by then I just didn't even care anymore..... Two pizzas and three bottles of pop.... and I still was so upset😒 This time he brought me ,two diet pepsis...... I gave him the original Pepsi back..... I have never been so disappointed in this restaurant.... and for some reason even though they say they didn't change anything..... the pizza was horrible...
